The rear signal light is not amber, was this an option back in the days or was this custom made? Image Unavailable, Please Login
The rear signal indicator should be amber. It was not an option to have red. Both signal light and brake light in the picture appear to have been darkened for a custom look. Notice also that the prancing horse on the rear valance is black; it should be chrome. Leads me to believe someone wanted the "blacked out" look for their car.
The rear lights were not available for years. I suspect someone substituted them with something they could find. Possibly cutting and gluing so there was a clear lens in the middle for reverse. Not certain I agree they have been darkened.
Perhaps it is the lighting/quality of the photo that gives the impression of the lenses being darkened, but to my eye they seem to have been tinted darker. There is a YouTuber, Mr. 308, out of the Netherlands I believe. The tail lights of his 308 are similarly darkened. Anyway, back to the OP, believe that reproduction amber tail light/reverse light lenses are readily available from the usual suspects.
I'm not so sure someone has not glued black caps over the lens. I don't recall having any markings like I see in the picture on my lenses.
If you are referring to the "Carello" script, and the various other characters molded into the outside surface of the lens, Carello is the manufacturer, and the other characters, including "E" in a circle, are various European code standards, manufacturing dates, etc.
If any Nation would have called for red rear turn signals on the 3*8 GTB/GTS Ferrari's it would have been America - But all 3*8 GTB's/GTS' left the factory with amber rear turn signals, without exception.
