She is telling him that no matter how big headed he is becoming with his red cars, it is his turn to take out the garbage and do the dishes;-)
Does anyone know when this photo of 0286 AM was taken? - Carol Shelby sitting in the car. It looks to be an air field surface. I always had this photo as Allen Guiberson sitting on the car but it is actually Lou Brero. Image Unavailable, Please Login

I know I posted most of the photos from the 75’ Glen GP but here’s one more. These photos seem to have come from the same collection of photos from that event, and the cars seem to have been there for the VSCCA event. All of my available context clues point to these all being owned by Paul Pappalardo at the time, since he owned a TDF, Lusso, LM, and a GTO around this time. Can anyone confirm? That would be: TDF s/n 1127GT Lusso s/n 5141GT GTO s/n 5111GT LM s/n 5903LM Not sure if this is true or not, just my assumption There might be Conways GTO in there too Image Unavailable, Please Login
I got to see 0642 MDTR on a few occasions post-period. In Japan circa 1997 it had a rod through the block, don't know how that was rectified.
This is a Motto bodied Ferrari owned at that time by Ed Willemen of Briarcliff, NY. I have color transparencies of the car which I took at his home in the early 1980s. The steering box markings indicate that it is an early car.
You have the serial number of the GTO correct and the 250LM belonged to Bill Gelles at one point, but Gelles and Pappalardo did many swaps over the years. I did a great deal of mechanical work on 5111 for many years. It was restored by Francois Sicard before I met Mr.P.
Could be What makes you say it is? Just curious Barchetta says it was shipped to NY in the late 60s and attended events in all red, no livery. Is that the only TdF that has been in all red with no livery?
1321GT was a red open headlight car located in Michigan around this time, with folding wipers, missing bumpers, with polished rocker trim and thin bezel around red painted side vent. 1127GT was a rosso bordeaux closed headlight car.
That makes more sense then, that it would have been 1321. I wonder where in NY it was located at the time
One more that I forgot to include in my post from this morning. I’d assume this is the same event at the Glen in 75, but it adds more cars I haven’t seen. Not sure if any of them were local to the area or not, but it’s cool to see so many valuable cars in such an old photo Image Unavailable, Please Login
The 59/60 TR would be #0774 also owned by Pappalardo. It was recently purchased from Kerry Payne. The Comp Daytona was Dr. John Giordano and the Allard belonged to Syd Silverman
I've never been, going there for the first time this summer for the Ferrari Challenge event, hopefully Ill see some cool Ferraris there but as far as I've heard its always a good time at the Glen
