    I am thinking of putting a front plate on the car to prevent issues when I drive into NY. A friend just got a no front license plate ticket on his NJ car in NY, which I find weird.

    I don't want to drill holes and not sure I like the spring loaded one available from Carbonio.

    I used one that screws into the tow hook, was less than $50 off ebay

    It got me through nj inspection first year I used it

    I only put it on if I need to which isn't much these days

    Easy on and off, not near the bumper

    I have the Carbonio. Super easy on and off in seconds. Call me anal, but I like my license plate centered otherwise tow hook would have been an option.

    I used to have the tow hook one on my Mini Cooper, didn't like the off center look also. The other issue I see with the Carbonio is that it blocks the air flow though the center vent. The tow hook seems to do the same for the radiator. The online pics of the Fabspeed seems to put the plate in the same location as factory, but wanted to confirm that and was interested in a picture of it installed as the online pic from Fabspeed is really up close.

    There is no vent in the center, it's simply a splitter to divert air under the vehicle more efficiently. I would rather cover that than one of the side radiator openings as you likely won't notice a difference unless you're driving at high speed

    Can you post a picture of the car from the front and the side with the plate holder installed? The picture on their website is so close all you can really see is the plate.

    You bring up a good point. I know a lot people in the UK do this, but has anyone done it here in the States? It doesn't seem illegal but I'm wondering if the police still pull you over because they're unsure.

    I’ve been happy w my Sto n Sho for the last three years. Same concept as Fabspeed. Less expensive?

    They are legal in the UK if they have a place that displays the whole number plate in the correct and size font without curves or bends that could obscure. And I don't know a worse place than the UK for number plate Police.

    Here in parts of California you can get pulled over for no front plate. So I got a Fabspeed holder. It bolts underneath so it requires no drilling, but it isn’t easy on/off. It’s also a bit heavy.
    So after using it for some time, I removed it in favor of a lightweight spring-loaded one. If your 360 has an egg-crate grill, this should work.

    I've never been pulled over but received multiple parking "no plate" tickets" They are fix-it tickets like others have noted. $39 and show cop to sign paper once "on"

    My spring loaded one fell off and dragged itself 200 yds. on the I 5 freeway. I was wondering what the scrapping sound was..... reminds me of-- I need to call Canada....

    Same, but haven't ran into any parking ticket issues. I keep my front plate with me though just in case so I can give the ol "waiting on the fancy plate holder from Ferrari that's on backorder" excuse :D
