Do all of your warning lights work? e.g. airbag (on startup), suspension setting (normal/soft), brake warning (!) and seat belt? If not, check fuse 24.

If you removed and reinstalled your instrument binnacle, I assume you reinstalled all 5 connectors. Is your speedo and tacho illuminating when you turn on your lights?

The illumination on the speedo and tach are working. Warning lights are comming on and off if i turn the key to start the engine. I'll make a short video so you can see and check if it is normal like it is now. If i check the wire signal from the ECU is getting to the dash. On pin 12 of connector 41052 i get 12volts with no engine running and it goes down when engine running to 6.3volts and drops to 5.6 volt if axellerator is pushen. It givs signal to dash on rear connector on the dash. Earth is ok , on plug E on the dash pin 3. Signal is getting to that point from ECU. I dont know what voltage I should mesure.. but the voltage is the same on the ECU side and the dash side.

So you mean the tacho signal.

Unfortunately, it sounds like a power wiring/splice issue (especially if all the warning lights are working). And as mentioned previously, Ferrari doesn't tell you where their splices (pigtails) are.

Figure 5 shows the power wiring (green/white VB). Splice 30048 could be damaged (open circuit). If it's a short circuit, I would imagine you would have a lot more issues.

Does the oil temperature gauge on your central instrument cluster work?

    Not many clues here :p

The system can be affected by that fuse, but if you say it happened before, we’ll have to look elsewhere.

    The usual suspects are:
Broken toothed wheel on top of one of the 4 struts
Broken plastic parts in actuators (see CaptainZ CNC website for pictures of broken parts)
Vertical accelerometer behind front bumper. A short in this has been known to blow fuse 24. There is a metal cube inside the accelerometer which becomes dislodged if you go over a pothole or something. It falls onto the internal circuit board and causes a short circuit.

Is the fault light illuminating or is the soft suspension light not illuminating when you move the switch ?

If you turn on the ignition/start the engine without moving the car, the suspension fault light sometimes illuminates. Just go for a drive to clear the fault.

Sorry, cross-posted. If the soft suspension light doesn’t come on, it could just be the switch. It’s wired directly to the light.

If the fault light is on, the suspension system defaults to the hard setting (sport)

Careful not to break the plastic frame around the switches. I usually disassemble the gearshift gate and push the switches from behind.

How did you determine it was dead?

I haven't heard of any alternatives, but perhaps they can be repaired (although the master chip may be Ferrari-only)

Why are there splices on these wires?

    Image Unavailable, Please Login

I would have thought that the left and right sides would be independent (since there are two fuses), but looking at the components on the Spider board, I'm not so sure.

Is the plug seated properly? You have to move it sideways to seat it properly.

Would you be able to take a photo of the internals of your coupe Window ECU?
