Those getting a car - what are your spec thoughts? Colors?

Per title. I'm considering the color situation but on first visual look, I'm thinking an extremely dark wine red - I thought lighter shades don't look as nice, but for some reason whites, specifically imagining Bianco Italia does stand out as an option. Do like the Verde Toscana too - but think it will be overplayed with it being a launch spec.

Were I a buyer, 12 Cilidri Spider, between Argento Nurburgring and Grigio Canna di Fucile. Without shields of course. Plus painted roof top.

 

I'm so sick of having my cars in black, white, or grey...

In all seriousness I loved it in Rosso Imola but put simply, I think it looks better with the blacked out parts hidden. I'm waiting for a render of all parts painted.

 

Yeah, I think that just looks absolutely stunning in black.

I think black is interesting as it removes, what bothers my initial thoughts the most: the rear end.

I think lighter and metallic tones will look nice with this car. For me, it’s always what brings out the lines and designing cues out that guides my choices.

 

I agree on metallic, it's the only way for this car. Note that all of the launch specs presented are metallic. But not sure on light shades, so far from what I'm seeing the deeper and darker the better. Maybe that's because it lessens the contrast with all the black bits

Thinking about green (maybe zeltweg), silver wheels, brown interior and yellow stripe on hood.. which might clash with the black trunk

 

Stunning color!

 

Some of these metallic greens with black wheels look pretty sick. Wife loves the design which makes it easy to decide. Now the question for me is what do the order requirements look like?

 

Well there's a question - how are stripes going to work. Going to be a bit interesting there I think.

I'm thinking a deep wine red or burgundy now..

 

Also hoping painted shields make an appearance soon. Curious to see what it all looks like.

 

Would go Verde Minerale and a Chocolate Alcantara/Leather 2 tone interior

 

Every car looks stunning in solid black.

Minerale on my list - but as the poster above shows, I'm not sure how well this car wears a lighter color.

I am not sure there is room for painted shields...

I think the roma blue and Verde brittish on the spider will look good

 

Actually had a look at it again, would go Verde Minerale with Iroko Leather/Alcantara or Verde Pino with Iroko Leather/Alcantara or Verde Silverstone for the darker look. But as I posted last Saturday after seeing the car in the flesh keeping the F12,

The dealer configurator is up and shows painted shields among MANY other options not available on the home version. This is the only pic I snapped but you can at least make out the painted shields. It’s a big car so they look much better than the standard ones

Still finding it bit unusual you cannot paint ober the black parts not even to have stripe over it

 

So the aero flaps are only offered in gloss black?
