    These pix show various/different Daytonas, one plexi, the other pop-up.
    WHICH of these Daytonas are you guys talking about?
    The plexi one is darkblue for sure. Not black. And no grey one is on your pix.

    First owner Rob Walker. Blu Dino Metallizzato 106-A-72 with black interior originally. Later red, then blue again.
    Jason McKenzie in Johannesburg had it for sale in 2022.

    With all due respect, but perhaps this is another (typical ?) case of what I’ve been paraphrasing/saying for several decades already “A picture/photo can lie or misrepresent more than thousand words”, not to mention many people tend to see/interpret colors differently, especially from pictures/photos (many of which, as mentioned, can be misleading) ?
    Just because I or some guy named “Bob” sees something being a certain color doesn’t mean everyone else sees it same and it may not have anything to do with any of us being colorblind, right or wrong.
    For example, on my screen, the plexi one looks more black than dark blue, especially in the post #3397, but neither appear dark red.

    The first Ferrari I ever took a picture of was a yellow US Daytona. Car was for sale by Classic Car Associates in Breda, The Netherlands (Rudy Pas and Marcel Roks). The camera I used was very cheap with no flash This must have been in 1986. Years later I sent a letter to Rudy Pas or Marcel Roks (can´t remember) with a list of all the Ferraris I´d seen at their location but unfortunately the Daytona didn't ring a bell regarding the chassis number.

    yes my wife and MIL went there for brunch yesterday...Missed the startup of it leaving.
    Being in Vancouver no shortage of exotics but seeing a classic exotic is a rarity.

    12575 was born Rame 106-R-49 with Verde 103 interior, later repainted Verde Chiaro and then Red.
