Horner - “He lost two-and-a-half-tenths in Turn 1 every lap,” he said. “Whether that was because of the damage, when you actually see the pictures of what was missing, it wasn't designed like that."

Not according to what Horner is admitting.

I think he lost cornering speed because of the damage yes but the overall top speed figures don't lie, he had issues with that all race (and not in quali/sprint)

to call it a fair race excuses the safety car error which handed it Lando, but congratulations to him

Because the bollard firstly hit the front wing and then move just above the bodywork..

That's not the floor but the mounting base for the bollard. You can't see any floor damage from those photos.

The bollard seemed pretty pointless but then the whole obsession with street circuits is pretty pointless. It just makes track position an even more dominant factor in the race.

The foundation part that holds the bollard to the asphalt went underneath the car and caused floor damage.

Amid controversy, speculations, warranted/not warranted penalties, etc…. the live fan experience was great! We enjoyed the weekend and watching all the nuances, controversies, and speculator's comments in real time, play out live…it was exiting! Especially when Verstappen isn’t just leading the race by 10, 20, 30 seconds for most of the race. Much more enjoyable for the fans when there’s hope for others :)

Saw that. That was the issue not the weak plastic tube bollard. Cars are running low low to the ground! The slow motion replays were clear on that incident.

Based on driver complaints after the bollard was, ahem, removed…I think it was placed there to help drivers sight the apex.

Max Verstappen said after the race he didn't have any damage. So if there was any (which is quite possible), he didn't feel it. He is usually super in tune with his car for any changes in balance, so if he was losing 2 tenths a lap because of damage, I think he would know it.

I think the hard tire was very much distracting him and the overall balance of the car was never something he liked all weekend from his statements over the weekend.
