Speedometer change from Km to Mph

Importing my 550 next year when Federalizing is not necessary. Not a dealer nor reseller. This is my 3rd 550 in 15-17 years. See my personal inventory in the member information section.

17km on it. Do I leave the current speedometer and odometer in the car or change to US. If so, how is the mileage acceptably preserved so that when it is sold there is acceptable proof of “no doubt” mileage?

Any suggestions as to best importer in Houston area?

I could certainly use the mph face, but what do I have to do to make it read the correct MPH?

Have not enjoyed such a conversion so any information is greatly appreciated.
