Morning all, I’ve been thinking about picking up a 456GT for a couple years but was always hesitant without being able to drive one. Well a couple days ago I was lucky enough to take one on an extended test drive and I’m sold. What a great experience. Unfortunately there are none for sale on BAT and only a questionable example on Autotrader so if anyone knows of one for sale or an off-market car you’d let go, please reach out. I’m open to any year but prefer a blue, green or dark red car. Prefer a car with driver miles and well maintained. It looks like the passenger air bag cover needs adjustment or replacement as does the climate control panel overlay. I don’t understand why sellers don’t take care of these relatively minor problems before offering a car.
I've got a 2001 456mgt that has had a major service done with ferrari of alberta. At the time I also had all the valve guides done along with anything else necessary to do with major service. Prior to that I had new rear shocks and accumulators, rebuilt radiator, new clutch and throw out bearing. I found the car originally on bat and had to get it mechanically sound. The car is in red but originally was black. Previous owner thought ferraria should only be red... drives great, mechanically reliable. Does have over 30000 miles on odometer and the typical shrinking dash and parcel shelf leather... Get in touch if your interested. Hey there just saw this, I own a 1999 Ferrari 456gt manual in green with 19,000 miles and the interior is in spectacular condition. No leather creases or warping. I’m in Los Angeles I’f you’d like to take a look at it
If it helps my car has a west Virginia title, and I'm getting paint correction and the shrunken leather done in July.
Paint correction as in leaving it red but getting it polished and diamond coated. After the leather is done I will be asking more for it but if you buy it before there would be some cost savings to you.
