    C'mon !
The Scuderia is like a simmering cauldron, always ready to boil over at the slightest opportunity.
Vasseur or not, it has always been like that.
Now that the attention will be fully focused on Maranello with Hamilton coming, everything will be exposed daily, warts and all to satisfy the media circus.

    Not true,
Todt managed to deal with this aspect.
Vasseur, in a slightly different way, is achieving the same result.

What an amazing event! Every one of those cars is better looking than anything on the current grid. I'm jealous!

Sound is stinko. Did I see a Matra V12 running around at the tail end of the pack?

Yeah. Somebody entered as “Mr. John of B.” There was a French flag by his name, so…..

Collesacco was 3rd in quali but way off the pace.

Zak Brown is in the ex-Jones Williams but I haven’t watched that group yet.

Todt had Montezemolo ... Vasseur does not have anyone like that .... and its way to early to tell, if Vasseur is up to calm down the fire at Maranello. I hope so, but I have my doubts.

I expect Hamilton will damage whatever team cohesion might exist; not necessarily overtly, but just by his presence. How many high profile interlopers (deserved or not, that’s how Hamilton and even Newey will be perceived by some) can they absorb?

Case in point: Virtually all the discussion around Hamilton is about him going to SF to “win his eighth championship.” How much of it has been about helping the scuderia win the constructor’s title?

If the speculation around Newey is about his desire to go where he can get “equity” then he should go to McLaren. They’re on the up and I think he could get a slice of ownership there more easily than at Ferrari.

RE. McLaren, I thought the company had recently passed under the complete ownership of the Bahrainis.

You could be right. I’ve lost track of who owns the team. Am I correct that it has no ownership overlap with the road car builder?

Also, I suppose Newey could go to AM if it’s equity he seeks. And he could stay in the UK if that were his desire.

McLaren Racing is a subsidiary of The McLaren Group (previously McLaren Technology).

McLaren Group Completes Successful Capital Reorganisation – Investors
Under the reorganisation, long-term strategic investor Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company (“Mumtalakat”), the sovereign wealth fund of the Kingdom of Bahrain, takes full ownership of the share capital of the Group following the conversion of all preference shares into ordinary shares.

Ferrarichat is a very weird place,
Seems like everyone here is hoping that the most outstanding engineer of history won’t come to reinforce our beloved team..
Just imagine for one second Real Madrid supporters just saying : oh no better for Mbappé signing for Barcelona because he will be just 100 kms from French boundary, on top of that our legendary club is just putting too much pressure on people..
    Lol :D

Maybe some people who respect Adrian Newey see the risk for him to go and work for Ferrari ?
He is at the end of a very good career, and things can only go downhill from here; that's my opinion.
For Newey who only worked for English teams, moving to Italy and working for Ferrari, could be going a step too far, and damage his reputation. We all know how toxic the atmosphere can be at the Scuderia, don't we ? That's what some people may think.

With regards to "Newey moving to Italy and working for Ferrari"......he's worked in South Africa for RedBull while spending time with his 4th wife.

I don’t think anybody is disparaging Italy. I wouldn’t mind living there myself. I think it’s a matter of the UK being a place where Newey is comfortable and wants to be because it’s home.

I didn’t realize he’s been married four times. Maybe that’s why he’s still working. Alimony can be very, very expensive….

    He’s a romantic guy in the end,:D
This is why he will go the the Scuderia after all.
Of course rational parameters are improving a lot since Fred’s hiring but we are just talking about basic, essential parameters.
There must be something more ..;)

Working for Ferrari proved not to be a "paradise" for several British engineers, as you know.
