I've never been to Retromobile but from the pictures it looked FABULOUS this year. Was the 2024 show extra good or is it always that good? If that's normal, then I will go in 2025.
    Thanks
    John

I have visited Retromobile quite a few times, both pre- and post-corona. Quality of the show was always quite hight, imo 2024 was the first show fully "recovered" from corona (a few big exhibitors took a while to come back). 2025 will be equally good or better still

It's always been a fantastic show, on the top of indoor shows / saloons, but in my opinion this year's Retromobile was a step forward, a lot of cars for every taste. I think it was first Joe Macari's attendance and the display was marvelous.

I have no idea what you are talking about but in Nevada I prefer Pahrump to Vegas;-)

Was forced to be there just a couple weeks ago. The ENTIRE TOWN looks even worse now. Even the newer housing communities look awful

WOW Thanks. I was just about to book a flight to DFW.
    I had a good laugh.
I had a look at Paris TX, and it has an Eiffel Tower and everything, so I can understand the confusion for some people. And I'm sure it's a nice place too.

OK back to a serious question. Is 1 day at Retromobile enough? I won't be buying anything, just looking at the eye candy.
    Thanks.

And just yesterday I was asked to go to Pahrump to perform a PPI (of a vintage car, not a potential bride :-(

I would say a day & 1/2….would do…do not go on Saturday or Sunday…. Way too many people…. I’ve been going for the last 12 plus years and have met and made friends so we drink a lot of wine w the Voisin club and always bring home a case of Voisin wine…..one of my favorite shows.. my friend is a vendor so I get full access all week and help set up… but if your going to just look around 1 day would probably be enough if you stay all day and get there early…. Enjoy Paris my favorite city!

Thanks William. I had already been warned about the weekend. My wife says 2 days, as she doesn't want to be rushed. She loves the pre-war French cars which I hope will be there in abundance. I like them too, including the Voisin. Just such beautiful works of art. We will include a visit to the Schlumpf. We have been 3 times but my wife loves it so much we will go again. I like it too. Bugatti overload.

The legendary Schlumpf Museum has about ten old Ferraris as well but it is five hours away from Paris in Mulhouse (still in France).

We will include the Alsace and the Loire in the trip for some wine indulgence, Belgium for beer and chocolate, and Zermatt or 3V for some skiing. So we will be driving but coming from Australia a 5 hour drive is no big deal.

At least two. You can meet a ton of interesting people as well. Make appointments long in advance. Come on the evening opening, anyone who is anyone attends then and the first day or two. Do NOT got during the weekend, too busy.

I used to spend 4 days there until my knees cried enough.
