Since no customers have yet taken delivery, are you with Ferrari or a supplier to Ferrari? Otherwise, what is the source of these details in regards to what will be possible in the 12Cilindri? Any ideas on the Intelligent Speed Assist defeat options in the 12Cilindri?

Pablo Picasso once said, “Good artists copy great artists steal”. Picasso was referring to the fact that good artists and great artists work differently. A good artist simply copies another person’s art. A great artist selectively takes (steals) elements from multiple sources and then creatively combines their influences to create something that is uniquely his own. In the case of the Ferrari Centro Style with the 12 C and Pininfarina with the Enigma GT Concept , it seems clear to me that both cars are original and not copies of other existing cars. In the case of the front and sides of the 12 C, it is visible that the designers used many elements from Ferraris of the past. Regarding the design of the rear area of the 12 Cilindri coupé, I think we will never know if it was influenced by Pininfarina’s Enigma GT Concept or if the opposite happened.

The 12 C coupé Australian connection. Practically everyone who has analyzed the style of the rear of the 12 C coupé so far has mentioned that its shape resembles a delta wing. However, there is someone who was much more imaginative, pointing out that the black rear window and the roof of the 12 C coupé create an original Boomerang motif. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Look for the DavidJames1 post earlier in the thread. Uploaded the 12 Cilindri product note. All ADAS and safety systems listed are on current Roma Spider and Purosangue EU specs.
you mean this: https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/posts/149640556/ having the "same or similar" options does not equate to how each will function and if can be disabled...will have to wait for customer deliveries... That's it. I do not know how to do that. My earlier post was to show Ferrari already using all systems on current models. Nothing new on 12 Cillindri. Are these systems not used in US market for you to try? I only know EU market, Roma Spider and Purosangue have the ADAS standard options. Except Roma Spider: AAC adaptive cruise control, is option to tick. Standard for Purosangue. BDA Blind Spot Detection is option to tick. Standard on Purosangue. NSW Surround View 360 is option to tick. Standard for Purosangue. DDA Driver Drowsiness and Attention System. Standard option Roma Spider and Purosangue. When in 2010 Flavio Manzoni took over as Chief Designer at Ferrari, he seemed like a simple and normal person. But in the meantime he has been changing, transforming himself, because now when we review his descriptions of the designs of a new Ferrari and the educational way in which he addresses all of us who do not reach his artistic genius , denotes a growing signs of narcissism. When recently asked if the 12 C's dark front strip could be painted in the car's color, Manzoni replied categorically that he will allow owners to have it painted “over my dead body”. Manzoni doesn't miss an opportunity when it comes to boasting even at inappropriate times. Recently, when Paolo Pininfarina died, he started by writing on his Instagram that between 2010 and 2012 “he shared with him the design of a beautiful car, the F12”. However, Manzoni's narcissism once again could not be contained and in a text that was supposed to be a tribute to the deceased Paolo Pininfarina, in the end he could not resist writing “...which under my direction was being born in Maranello”. I wonder if Flavio Manzoni thinks he is a new Leonardo da Vinci but seems to be no one within Ferrari to tell him that perhaps he is not. Therefore, as long as this is the case, the design of future Ferraris will continue to be on Manzoni's hands according with his moods, which have already demonstrated that they can vary between geniality and its exactly opposite. I think these two models are strikingly similar in design concept. Not little tiny details but the gestalt idea is quite similar. Horizontal front piece. Stretched windshield curves. U or V shaped roof rearward facing design and delta black rear window or hatch. The exact angles aren’t identical and slight variation but the concept car seems identical as the origin of the current 12c.
@MDEL thank you for posting that "tribute". I wasn't aware of the length, width and depth of the man's ego and the compulsion to display it at the most inappropriate time and so publicly. Strangely though, there's pity here after the initial sense of indignation.

Ha! Incidentally, has anyone here actually see him in the flesh after that comment?!? In some parts of the world the words "that can be arranged" may have been uttered.....just saying.
Right, I believe the quote came from a Top Gear review, and no one else heard it first hand or if there was any smile along with it. Could have been a joke, could have been serious, it’s a game of telephone.
Many artists are narcissistic and obsessive compulsive. Designers no less so. Manzoni meet Bangle. A look at the BMW current design language can be traced all the way back to him- loss of beauty- discordance and dissonance rule the day. Manzoni hasn’t reached that level but we teeter on the edge of the abyss. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
