Sorry, but the Pista is a completely different animal. Both in speed, and in sound, and in look. I love my modified 488 too, but the Pista is a different universe, not even close. (and yes, the Pista sounds worse than a regular 488, but all these straight exhausts are even worse than the Pista.)

I will have to get back to you on the performance of mine and then go see a buddy with his Pista and report back. The Pista is a Pista of Heaven. I love that car. They are almost a $mil up and there are only two cars that I have that budget for, and a Pista isn’t one of them.

So many F8 Spiders that I am looking at currently that are up for sale / close to 80% don't have race seats, Only power comfort seats. The ones that have carbon seats are missing a lot of other options that are a must. I am in the same boat as you and really have to have carbon seats, but am getting to the point where I am giving up on carbon seats because I can't find the right spec w/ Carbon seats/price, etc. Will not having Carbon seats really be a BIG regret later? FWIW, I have had all the mid engine cars since the 430 never with anything other than Daytona seats. And 3 of these I ordered new. I personally don’t care for the racing seats and neither does the Mrs. Maybe this is just where our age is I dunno. Good luck hunting as that’s half the fun.
With the spiders, it’s a cruising thing…. Top down, most comfort so that’s why a lot of spiders have comfort seats… most Tributos I’ve seen have the carbon race buckets. AND the other reason for seeing more for sale with comfort seats is BECAUSE of the seats in my opinion. They go up for sale for that reason and they stay for sale for that reason… nothing TOO negative but the ones with carbon race seats do sell faster leaving the comfort seats at a higher percentage available Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
I went with comfort seats in my F8 for two reasons: Seat memory (I like to move the seat all the way back for easy egress, memory makes it easy to get back to the perfect spot) Heated seats (living in CT, this is a big deal for my lovely wife) Not sure it was the right choice since I subsequently bought a Lusso which we use as the cruiser. If I had the Lusso when I ordered the F8, good chance I'd have done the sport seats instead. That said, I think the sport seat thing is a little overblown. Don't get me wrong, they look and feel great. But the comfort seats are pretty darn good in their own right, and the new ones look pretty good too. And they are better for longer and/or colder trips.
I'm 58yrs old and absolutely love the race seats in my F8 compared to the electric seats I had in my 488. The fit to me and looks and quality of the race seats are a must have. My wife (very short) likes the race seats better too.
I am 38 and went with power electric seats. F8T had all the options (highly spec) I was looking for except bucket seats. I can live without it. And you are correct that more than 80% has electric seats in Ferraris... maybe due to resale/demographics/wants/non-track usage/etc. I can tell you that much Ferrari bucket seats are way more comfortable compared to my Porsche gt3rs buckets. p.s., I still like Porsche GT buckets over Ferrari due to more aggressive side Image Unavailable, Please Login
