Are you specifically talking about receiving an allocation or placing a deposit. Many people (myself included) have placed deposits. I placed mine on May 2nd.

I haven’t even been able to place a deposit. This would be my 3rd Ferrari.

No timeline yet. Told I'll have one in first year. Opted for the coupe due to it's features.

My dealer isn’t taking any yet…so don’t fret. It’s dealer by dealer and some are more keen to get the money in their account sooner versus later. I said I wanted one and was told to hold tight until they get more info. I currently have a GTS plus a few others and have a resonable history so I think it’s a legit wait not a pass over. Hang in there

No deposit for me either. I have had several, ordered four - but only one a V12. Still have it so I can wait. :)

Perfect. There’s been turnover at both dealers so they’re both new reps , I’ll be patient :)

In this video the 12 Cilindri is leaving the main entrance of the Ferrari factory. In this video you can clearly see that the car is very wide. For me the 12 C coupé in this combination of yellow, with camouflage and without the black parts of the front and rear visible, looks much better than those that have been presented so far.

I think it depends on markets and dealers. In my market, one dealer - deposit placed, order already accepted by the factory and apparently going into MODIS. I guess I should see it in the App soon (I see they’ve upgraded the App but haven’t checked what’s changed!).

No matter how hard we complain, every new model is instantly part of Ferrari, what Ferrari is, and contributes to define "Ferrari style".

It would seem that the trouble set in about this time TWO years ago. The new electric management were not happy they were getting another V12 model that seemed to undercut the new electric direction. Already a lot of money had been invested so in a way to stamp their authority on this project they called for a redesign of the F167. It would seem all the late design pressure and interference resulted in new compromises that don't now reflect the original beauty of 'Project F167' here.
note: I have had ZERO communication with day355 on the F167

I thought it couldn't get any worse than the 256 GTB or the SF90, but Manzoni showed that he can!!;)

I hardly think the 365 is unloved. I regularly encounter passionate Ferrari fans who think it's among the most beautiful cars to come out of Maranello. If anything, I think a more common perception is that it's nearly universally loved.

I think that perception might be wrong also. The Daytona may be more divisive than many of its fans appreciate. It's considered such an icon and so many people love it, I have the sense (perhaps wrong) that many of its detractors choose to stay quiet on the subject.

It would be interesting to see the correlation between reactions to the 365 and reactions to this car.

At least the designer back then wasn't as egotistically stubborn about color matching the nose and ass.
It looked better that way then and it would do likewise on the 12C.

The pictures of the 12 C so far presented by Ferrari and also those coming from the Configurator, are artificial and not very realistic. Only when more reliable pictures exist will it be possible to have a more precise idea of what the 12 C truly looks like seen from different angles. Obviously none of this will replace the experience of seeing the car in person.
However, using the few more realistic pictures I know of a 12 C in motion, I compared them in different view angles with those of the 365 GTB4 "Daytona".
Looking at the front/side picture there is no doubt that the design of the front of the 12 C was inspired by that of the Daytona. Regarding the fascia where the bonnet ends and where the headlights are incorporated, IMO it will look much better painted in the color of the car, as is the case on the Daytona. The obligation of black in this entire area, as Manzoni dictated, seems to me to make the front of 12 C much less attractive.
Although the "modernists" will soon come to say that this is something of the past, if the pop-up head lights worked so well on the original Daytona, they would certainly also work well on the 12 C and that's why I think that option should have existed.
In the side view, some similarities can be seen between the Daytona and the 12 C, basically in the front and also in the angle of the windshield. IMO the 12 C's rims are of questionable taste and if they were different and more appropriate would certainly enhance the car.
Finally, in the side/rear view, it is confirmed that there are no similarities between the 12 C and the "Daytona".

I thought safety legislation had effectively "killed" pop up headlights in new cars.

Not illegal. Apparently just incredibly hard (technically and cost wise) to meet the safety requirements to implement them. *Edit* I misread your post as "illegal" but yes agreed. *Edit*

Those are not ‘pop up’ head lights. They clearly do not change physical position to ‘pop up.’ They are revealed head lights.
