I have to say, it’s really nice to see McLaren back in the fight.

Imagine being in the stands watching nothing happen after 30 laps. Boring

    Hardly.

Strategy makes it a boring parade...they account for nearly every situation. The things you do to win the race, they're doing right now. Can't help the lap 1 crash changed all the strategy, plus they're talking about getting a safety car....well...as slow as they're going, that's statically lower probability...

What you're seeing would happen at any circuit if they could get the tires to last....#redbullring

F1 has been a "boring parade" at Monaco since at least the 1960's, barring some chaos (rain, crashes/SC, etc)

    Precisely!

The cars really suck. They need to get back to smaller, lighter cars. Even better if they ditch the hybrid crap and stop worrying about nonsense like rain wheel covers.

I agree to some degree. However the F1 cars are too big and too aero sensitive to be able to get a decent race on a small and narrow track like Monaco.

If this goes to the end of the race Magnussen deserves the overtaking award.

I saw a great race at Monaco.
A Lotus charging from 4th to win.
That was 2 weeks ago, 1950s sports cars.
    Perfect for the track.
All I want today is a procession with Chuck at the front.

I don’t understand. Did the half lap count as using a set of tires required of the two set rule?

yes. Because the red flag rules allow for the tire change to count.
