I don't !
I had a modest Franco-Italian celebration…..brioche and cappuccino. (It was still morning, so cappu was ok but still too early for a crisp, grower Champagne ).
Good result for Ferrari But a very boring "race" (apart from the start chaos). In other news, Alonso did his best to protect Stroll (to allow him to pit without losing position) but it was not enough...
I cannot imagine that our late Queen Elizabeth II ever did anything like that, or that King Charles II would participate in such celebrations for the success of a compatriot on home soil. Our monarchs have more composure than that.
Awesome to see this result - Leclerc had been on it the whole weekend and after qual there was little doubt he'd win. In more unsurprising news, when I saw the wreck at the start and a Haas, I immediately knew it had to be kmag. Maybe this is finally when he gets his race ban, Bearman gets in and kmag never gets back in. We can hope. But I think Perez might have enough culpability to save him. That move was never on, but squeezing kmag of all people is going to result in a crash for sure. He's just too stupid to back out at this point. In the least surprising news, Stroll makes his 3rd race ruining mistake in 9 races. His dad must be getting tired of it at this point.
King Charles II (of England) died in 1685 according to wikipedia (I know it was just a typing error, but I could not resist)
Very funny post ! Are you really comparing one of the most important monarchies in the humanity’s history with a principality of operetta?
You mean they are more stuck up. Enough is enough William, you English never know when you are beaten. Now go sulk over your warm beer;-) Let us enjoy a special day, we are latins, not emotionally challenged.
He was visibily moved. I know that first Monegasque win at the F1 Monaco GP is something to remember, but I didn't know he cared about F1 that much.
I am sure you have noticed that the more you go North, the less people display their emotions in public. Those who break this rule have been contaminated by folks from the South.
Monaco as boring as ever, but Leclerc absolutely deserved todays result. He needed to get a win under his belt, and improve his self confidence. I don't think he placed a wheel wrong all weekend. Ferrari also needed a Monaco win after all their bad luck at the circuit. I think getting this monkey off his back might help Leclerc a lot.
Grande Charles, Forza Ferrari. Fastest man all weekend. Let's see what Canada has in offer; could always dream that the bumps there will also hinder Red Bull
Look at K-Mags on-board and you can see the kink of the guardrail coming at him thereby limited the amount of space he has between himself and Perez. He had nowhere to go and eventually ran out of space and clipped Checo's right rear tire. He should have backed off. Tweet— Twitter API (@user) date
