I’ll speak for Todd on this one. That is in no way representative of the market. Car has 28k miles, bare bones and heavily modified. I’d also worry that car was a track car in Vegas?? That is a one off anomaly.

Definitely wouldn’t say crashing but I have noticed a lot of email notifications from CarGurus the last couple weeks of F8s I looked at in the past having their prices adjusted. Seems normal though and don’t care cus I’m not selling anytime soon

Does seem like black is the least desirable F8 color and usually gets the lowest price.

Seriously now.... 28k miles, body mods that have to be drilled and mounted, engine mods.... and the bidding just started a few days ago ... its at $200k now so we will see were it stops and if it sells.
This car is NOT representative of the true F8 market.

Reminds me of a year ago when a friend said Rolex is crashing... based on his no real knowledge of the market but here we are with those prices still doing well. LOL

    LOL.

    That's hardly a typical example.

A 2022 model with (wait for it) 28k miles on the ODO. And it's modded with an exhaust and aftermarket wheels.

In the Ferrari world, that's like telling your blind date that you were a hooker before you got a desk job, and that you can only fit into your Size 4 dress because of liposuction.

Only correction, it’s a 2020. Used in Vegas and 14k miles put on out there. My guess is some people on here may have even rented that thing and beaten the crap out of it!!

Owner should have bought Novitec F8 N-Largo ;)

    p.s., if F8 is crashing I will buy one more F8 :)

FChat really needs a laugh button and not just a like button. I’d use that a lot cos I really don’t ‘like’ anything.

Not trying to stir the pot, but I don’t think Todd knows how BAT works. BAT doesn’t get involved in anything except for making the listing for you. I’ve sold three cars on BAT. The best way I can describe BAT:

Conventional auction houses = Cab companies
    BAT= Uber (the app company)
Buyers and sellers = passengers and drivers

Uber (the app company) does not get involved with anything other than connecting the passengers and drivers. They connect them and charge a fee.
That’s exactly what BAT does. The only extra step is they will try to negotiate the lowest possible reserve with the seller and they will then write the listing for you. Nothing more.

Anyways, back to the real topic. F8 price trends…

I understand exactly how it works and what it was invented for. I was there at inception. But regardless, yes, back to the topic…. But pls don’t allow BAT sales to affect what you think is a market value is all I’m trying to help you with understanding.

Given the car's history, it actually did amazingly well.

Only 40k under MSRP for a 2 year old car with over 28k ODO.

    Yup, 4 years old car.
    28k miles.
    One the lowest specs.
Really beat the hell of a car.
And still sold for 41k under msrp.

Yeaaaaaa F8s are really crashing ;)
    Comm'on!!

    What a cool spec that 2022 F8 is...it's like new !

Seems like newer cars like this sell for much less than at the Ferrari Dealer....will be interesting to follow and see what the market offers.

Funny thing - if the result would have been bad, it would have been meaningless because the car was crap, BAT does not represent the market and so on...
Now that the result was not bad, suddenly BAT became meaningful and supports the idea that the market is definitely strong :D

Nah, it’ll never be the ‘market’. It’s not designed to be. Some high, some low, some whatever… but ALL overwhelmingly NOT sold to final private owners.

There’s really zero debate here. Especially with F8’s. You’ll all see within a year or two, the prices will be the same or higher for these. Most likely higher. Get one if you want one.
