    On modern paints the metal flakes float on surface, so the result looks very different. If you use modern paint and have to use metallic silver in the mix, that is what you end up with - a lots of metal on the surface.

    Yes, that’s how it appears to me as well. It isn’t much fun driving your Ferrari on congested streets (forget the highways) in south Florida in late spring heat, as you well know.

    I love that two tone blue 4 cam, have seen it there and at Chantilly numerous times. It has wonderful patina, you can tell it has really lived, been driven hard, the contrary of a concours queen Uber restored investor type bauble. It was owned by colorful character Jean Claude Bajol who owned important sixties Maranello racers and, since his passing, by his brother.
