Single stage... Non clear coat is where it is at.

 

On modern paints the metal flakes float on surface, so the result looks very different. If you use modern paint and have to use metallic silver in the mix, that is what you end up with - a lots of metal on the surface.

Well it is clearly at the Biltmore in Coral Gables but what event no idea.

 

Yes, that’s how it appears to me as well. It isn’t much fun driving your Ferrari on congested streets (forget the highways) in south Florida in late spring heat, as you well know.

 

Too true... south Florida totally lacks fun twisty traffic free roads...

 

I love that two tone blue 4 cam, have seen it there and at Chantilly numerous times. It has wonderful patina, you can tell it has really lived, been driven hard, the contrary of a concours queen Uber restored investor type bauble. It was owned by colorful character Jean Claude Bajol who owned important sixties Maranello racers and, since his passing, by his brother.

NOT a Daytona engine.

 

Description states 365 GT 2+2 cylinder heads with Daytona Block.

 

There was a 308 with V12 in California in the 80's I believe.

 

I wish there were a video somewhere. If the engineering and execution are as well conceived as the presentation I’d be very impressed. I wonder how much weight is added.
