    Had some issues with the radio and the dealer installed the latest radio firmware for the right-side screen on the dash. It now matches the 812 and added some new features:
    - Speed sensitive volume
    - Surround Sound QuantumLogic
    - New visualization for fader/balance
    - New menus and graphics throughout

    I had no idea the latest update had that so thought I would share.

    Will ask for mine to be done when it goes in for its warranty inspection (another 2014 car) and will let you know if I get the same outcome.

    Same, 2014 car, hope this is true but a little skeptical that I would see all that.. I’m intrigued.

    Here's a video of clicking through some menus. Mine is also a 2014.

    Note that I just realized that Nav doesn't work. The maps database is blank. SA says they're talking to Ferrari about the resolution to that piece.

    This would be interesting, especially as the screens from 2016 onwards were upgraded. If anyone else had this done, I'd love to know.
    Interesting. I think it'd drive me nuts to only have one screen with updated software and look back to the left at the older style. Keep us posted on the navigation.

    Very interesting. I currently have '15 F12 in for annual service at Foreign Cars Italia (NC) and asked about the firmware update, but they said nothing is available.

    @cryptyk : would you please share a photos of the System information menu.. they will have a version there so people can go dealer to ask for it

    I brought the car in because the Audio settings wouldn't stick after turning the car off. The SA replaced the car battery and updated the radio firmware to fix the issue. I was charged for the battery replacement but I believe the radio fix was under warranty.

    I'll be damned, that's certainly the newer UI on a 14.

    Edit: So the interesting question here is: if the software is updated, what's the hardware required to get CarPlay on a 14?

    You have to ask - is different better or just different. I haven't explored how to use the system as delivered. Something different would not matter.

    I asked my Vietnam dealer and they contact the Factory and seem no one know about it

    My UK 2014 car has just been through its annual warranty inspection at the dealership. I asked them to check to see if they could update the firmware. They have even gone back to the factory and for my VIN they have confirmed that there is no firmware update available for my car. There is one for later vehicles fitted with the updated electronics that included the option for Apple CarPlay. Not sure what is going on here.
