Drivers and teams are filtering into town—Max arrived today I was told. After a perfect weekend weather-wise last week, prediction for race weekend sucks, unfortunately: Image Unavailable, Please Login Carlos and Charles cooperate to simulate a lap of the Gilles Villeneuve circuit: Tweet— Twitter API (@user) date
Esteban is burning bridges everywhere I fear.. Don’t get it, when cold he looks like a very composed person. Enough is enough for Famin, rightfully.
Checo looks to get a whole new car this GP. Possibly a new engine and new components and a new gearbox.
Reminder: Ocon has a 5 place grid drop at this race due to his incident with his team-mate Gasly at Portier at Monaco.

so where's the broadcast? ESPN has relegated the lead up sessions to being lower than re-runs of the NCAA championship on ESPN2. I see ESPNU, ESPN+....ESPNNews... sjd

With rain expected throughout the weekend, it would be good for F1 fans to be part of some indoor activities happening in Montreal on the race weekend apart from the track action. One of these activities is a meetup at Moose Bawr where you can fellow f1 fans, enjoy refreshments, and discuss Formula 1.
For the NYC tristate area, looks like on Sunday the local ABC affiliate is overriding the national coverage of the Canadian GP with coverage of the National Puerto Rican Day parade (12:00-3:00 pm)...then when the coverage of the parade ends, there is a slot from 3 pm to 4 pm where there is coverage of the race...I suppose for the last half of the race...
Once again, I recommend F1TV Pro for streaming coverage. $90/year gives you all the practices, qualifying, and races on your schedule. No affiliation except for as a satisfied multi-year subscriber.
