massive production of random parts will never replace customer service. When combined there is a different matter entirely...it's called good business. No advertising or cheesy side games required... #MRP_E
EAG claims to be and there are trolls on the loose looking for funding for future kits as before. Send us 100K and you'll be the exclusive dealer. Wolf of Wall Street made a great film. Leonardo rocked it should have got an Oscar
If you plan on continuing to defend EAG, which I anticipate you are, why would you throw that accusation at Dr. S after all of the ridiculous delays EAG had? I don't think Dr. S is taking deposits and then making people wait years unlike someone..... Sent from my toilet using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Not making accusations at all - for past few months NGS keeps saying how they cant get kits to do conversations. Curious why.
Anybody got a 360 manual they can do without for a couple months? I would take it down, reverse engineer the manual components and produce a kit. cost? who knows at this point. Or..is this conversion fad fading out..
The main snag is making the housing. Also the gate ideally requires a 5 axis mill. I went through all of this and it was a migraine. Sent from my toilet using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Actually they were unable to get kits too. In fact they repaired the F1 system on a F430 they recently sold because they said they couldn’t get a kit. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Just buy a 360 kit from MMWX or Moderna. They are cheap enough now. You will spend tons of time and effort to reverse it. It's not that simple to do. Unless you have a lot of time on your hands.
I'm curious to hear what you are implying. To clarify, when I said housing, I was referring to the shifter housing. Sent from my toilet using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I bet that Art can get you a gate if you need one..... PS I have a complete GTO gated tower in ceramic from the 25 year GTO anniversary celebration at Mas du Clos in 1987...
The rod in the 599 does not create a vibration with the torque tube? That was the problem EAG ran into...
Automotive YouTuber Vin_tra has been working on a 360 Modena he bought for $40k. Today’s episode features a gated six conversion, using an EAG kit. Art Bartosik himself showed up at the SoCal shop that did the work. The major takeaway is that EAG is very much alive and kickin’. Art has gone baroque on his CNC-ed shifter tower, with decorative cutouts in every possible location. It would seem the midnight raid on the EAG shop left behind enough equipment to do this kind of thing. Art’s also added a cable adjustment feature to the base of the shifter assembly, that he describes as infinite adjustment. Here’s the link:
