It should I agree. But the “critics” on f-chat will bemoan it isn’t 1,000 HP or it uses the wrong alloy or it isn’t retro enough or isn’t futuristic enough or … At least we have lots of opinions and in the end that’s ok! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat

I didn't think the 12 Cilindri would be the last so this is indeed good to read. We'll see what the future brings.
Building a new V12 is a heavy investment in terms of time and money, with the result that there is constant uncertainty about the regulations. So, is it topical: currently no. That being said, those who wanted to send the V12 NA to the museum take a "good reminder" with the sales figures of the PS and the 12C... So, what's left...the recycling of this engine which is almost reaching the end of its possibilities... if this is the case, it will be at most in a Modificata version of the 12th C. To date, it is not registered anywhere. Already the 12 C will take us to 2030, so until then, where will the world be...and what Ferrari will be...
Couldn’t agree more. I felt the GTS pulled the best of the SF and cleaned up the design language but I am flip on the 12c…the coupe reads more complete than the spider
I am liking the design more and more as I've mentioned in other posts. My initial reaction was "Bleuch"! Week ago it was "hmmm, OK". And more quietly it's becomming "bellissima"! The colour choices realy do affect the looks of this car for me a lot more then different models. I had a giallo F12 which I adored, so I tried to spec an 812sf with giallo and hated the looks. Same applies with the 12C. To me it needs more metallic 'lighter' colours like Celeste or a nice grey.
At the 5:10 mark when they cut to the back the delta wing looks great, it adds presence and character. I could see why it's something you have to see IRL to appreciate. In pictures taken directly sideways it looks like it cuts into the side profile of the car and ruins it, but we don't really see it in the flesh from those angles. The angles of the cameraman in this video are closer to what we see IRL. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Notice the light bar wraps the corner and terminates into the body color area. If illuminated this helps the black area and light look like a cohesive element.
That rear bumper/diffuser is so large, I'm going back and forth on whether I want that in carbon, or if it can be made in shiny black to match the rest of the rear.
This was the comparison I was hoping to see. I think 12 Cilindri is sharper bersion of Roma and looks better. Can you adjust 12 Cilindri to be about same size as now it looks a bit short in comparison.
I used to think they look similar until this comparison. Keep in mind there's only so much you can do with front engine coupes that hasn't been done before.
It can be (or even nero daytona/canna di fucile and a few other options). That's what I'm going with for all future cars. I prefer the increased contrast with black over the grey-ish carbon.
Awesome thanks. I was considering matte carbon externally but then thought the contrast with the shiny black or a Nero Daytona would look nicer on this car most likely. Appreciate the input.
You're welcome. If you think about it the car has a lot of black parts and complex elements (in-between headlights, A-pillars, all or part of the mirrors, side intake, hood vents, roof, back window, back winglet). Adding an extra color with the grey carbon risks making it too busy.
Agreed. The Spider has just too much going on on that stubby rear end. And the elements dont really fit together well.
