The title say it all. Of course drain and remover the fan (done), hosed and electrical stuff. I know there are two bolts at the top, one on each side that also go through the condenser and I can get a wrench of those by reaching in through the vents in the door jamb, but before I start yada, yada, yada. Does the condenser have to come out with the radiator?

I managed to leave the condenser in when I swapped mine but it wasn't easy. A lot of contorting was necessary. I'm not sure I wouldn't just take it out if I had to do the job again.

In my experience it is not possible to remove the LH radiator without the condenser because of the A/C lines going to the condenser routed over the rad at the top right corner. If memory serves well it is also not possible to loosen the 4 mounting points of the condenser to the rad without access to the front side of the condenser.

That was my concern, but as I said, I don't need to remove it after all. But thanks. I'm sure in the future I may need to take it out.

yup. you can take them out together, leave the a/c lines connected. you can unbolt the condenser rad from cooling rad as it all kind of hangs off in the wheel well taking a lot of care with the a/c hoses. bit fiddly but perfectly do able.

Very fiddly. I ended up disconnecting the A/C lines to remove both the rad and condenser as I wanted a comfortable access to the whole area to clean every possible corner.

Exactly what I did. I wouldn't bother next time and would simply disconnect the lines.

It's doable with condenser still in, just a lot of sweat and tears, just watch the lines so you don't bend too much
