I searched here and nothing came up. So my question is.... is there anyway to further lower the driver race seat in my F8? I have the seat lifter and it is all the way down, seat is all the way back but if I had just ha the seat a little more lower it would be perfect.

I thought I had read on here about doing this with adjustment holes on the seat frame but with the search function I can't find info. Asking here before I head to the dealer. I like to be knowledgeable 1st before I hit up the dealer in case the dealer doesn't know.

I have the CF race seats in a 458 but they are not electric, only manual. There are bolt holes in the carrier frame where you can adjust the bucket in the driver's seat up or down and adjust the rake of the seat as well. It involves removing the seat from the car, and placing the bolts in the desired holes to achieve the desired raise/lower/adj rake. This is the video of my friends adjusting my CF racing seat. IF thee are the holes in the frame, then you can probably adjust it some in relation to the electric lift. If no bolt holes then you are probably limited to the range of the electric lift.

AFAIK, they stopped putting the adjustment holes in the race seats with the introduction of the 488. There are certainly none in mine anyway as I had the seat out to check for that specific reason.

Doesn't the seat lifter, even in lower position, raise the seat a little ? in this case, removing the lifter would bring a little benefit.

No idea if it does. Maybe tomorrow depending on weather I am driving over to my dealer and ask the service manager.

No not right now... but trying to sit a little lower in the car, knee room would improve. Looks like seat could go lower and back a little and still not touch the floor or rear areas.

Wasn't one of the reasons you got an F8 was because of the sport seats instead of the comfort like you had in your 488? Does the F8 with sport seats seem lower then the 488 with comfort seats or about the same?

Yes correct… the race seats do seem lower than the electric seats but in 2 other f8 with race seats seemed lower. It could just be my memory
