Retrofit retractable belts in GT4?

    Hey,

    I have a 1975 308 GT4 that I'm restoring. I am getting close to finish! The car came with non retractable, belts. I'd like however to install the the retractable kind. I haven't looked to see if there's room for the spool but I assume there is. Has anyone does this upgrade and if so can you please let me know what you did?

    The mounting box for the retractor does not exist in early GT4s.

    My car is also a ‘75, same as DIYs model year, so maybe the difference is they are on US market cars and not others?
