Now with the sort of breakthrough Mercedes as actually made this time I can see it become more possible than ever now. Newey leaving was one thing, but we're getting near a level playing field.

Imagine Max does leave Red Bull? Who is his replacement? Car performance stays exactly as it is today. Sainz in the RB and Max in the Merc. I know who I'd put money on to win...

Yeah, you posted an article saying Mercedes (Allison works for Mercedes) was going along with Sir Lewis Hamiltons decisions and input. Did you forget what you posted?

For 2 years we heard Lewis was doing testing and designing. Everything went from bad to worse.

Allison comes back and the car becomes decent again.

I'll let you work out the math on that one.

Sir Lewis is so dreamy and great. Could you imagine if Max went to the team that Lewis built. Hahahaha. The reality is that Merc does not lewis anymore! Tides are turning against the mentally polluted

Are we talking about the same thing? If you are lost, I will help you. 2022 forward Merc drove the influence, It was posted that Sir Lewis Hamilton made the statement "they should have listened to me". Then you posted proof of Mercedes "listening to him" for this car. Now the foundation is better. Neither you or the article mention anything about Alison. Does any of this ring a bell?

James Allison came back into the picture quite a while after Lewis was boasting about "Merc is listening to me for the 2024 car" statement, which was somewhere around December 2023. Allisson came back in April.

    If you're lost, help yourself.

Yes, there are more races per year under the Max era. Nonetheless, here's a comparison of how long it took some great F1 drivers to reach 106 podiums.

    Prost: 38 years, 8 months, 14 days, 199 races
    Alonso: 42 years, 3 months, 12 days, 376 races
    Verstappen: 26 years, 8 months, 30 days, 195 races

Hamilton: at 32y, 3m, 3d, during his 190th race, took his 106th podium at the ChineseGP 2017.
    Schumacher: 35y/5m/21d, 170th race. Europe 2002.
    Vettel: 31y/27d, 210th race, Hungary 2018.

Max becomes the 5th driver in F1 history to take 40+ poles with one constructor.

Lewis Hamilton has 78 with Mercedes.

    Michael Schumacher 58 - Ferrari

    Ayrton Senna 46 - Mclaren

    Sebastian Vettel 44 - RedBull

    Max Verstappen 40 - RedBull

So it seems Max is just the same as ever and hasn’t matured. His unnecessary battle with Lando made no sense. Shame he got to finish the race and Lando was out. Just reinforces his sense of mis-placed invincibility.

Will be fun to see what RPM has to say about this… :)

More than 1 source saw and reported this. Very idiotic. They think Tsunoda has temper issues lol!

--What I found alarming is that after the contact and as they were both limping along, Verstappen clearly tried to impede and collect Norris if he could.--

Max is doing what any of the greats have done many times in the past, which is threading the needle between not legal and legal. The desire to win above all else is strong with all of them. I think Max would have got away with his antics had he not caused punctures taking out Lando... I can't say I really like it but that's how all the greats were at some point or another.
