Lmao! Whaaaaaah! These guys cry and drag things up from the past like a woman. Participation trophy generation level crying
I think Ferrari has issues with their [cough] [cough] upgrades(downgrades??) for Silverstone that was fast tracked for Catalunya. It's gotten worse for the team as a whole.
It’s called a motor race. “he keeps lunging!!” yeah a hole. He’s trying to pass you. You’re not used to that feeling.
True........but finishing 17sec. behind Max at this race: 1) With a 10sec timed penalty. 2) With a puncture which he had to pit. 3) And get beaten by a HAAS. ......................it's just mind boggling.
I actually logged in from vacation for this. here’s how it is. It is about TIME this happened. Lando is aggressive and max can’t deal with it. Just like HAM couldn’t deal with max being aggressive. You can’t deny max was driving with his mirrors. That was a lot of swerving not tactical placement. And he made the final error. let them race. It was awesome. Sad that max didnt DNF too due to the issue at hand.
As a good friend in the States sent to me: The return of Max. This is him under pressure. He hasn’t changed at all.
Really? Norris? He was six seconds back until RB botched Max's stop. I'd have said Piastri, who came back from a bad lap 1 to pass Carlos at the end. Ferrari continuing to NOT develop their car. Max channeling Jos.
For those that didn't or weren't able to watch the post race interviews with the drivers, here's Norris and Max regarding their incidents. Tweet— Twitter API (@user) date Tweet— Twitter API (@user) date
If you take an alternative scenario, you see that this clash didn't make sense. Norris would have passed Max and won; Max would have finished second, still leading the WDC. Max would have ended up with 18 points ((instead of 10 for 5th), and avoided 2 penalty points. Norris would have gained 25 points instead of 0. I wish drivers were thinking a bit more.
You take any podium you can get...and never complain about your good luck because of another car's bad luck. But we can evaluate teams and drivers irrespective of luck. Overall: Max/RB is #1. Lando/McLaren is #2. Russell/Mercedes is #3. Piastri/McLaren is #4. Sainz/Ferrari is #5. Hamilton/Mercedes is #6. Leclerc/Ferrari is #7. Perez/RB is #8...and everything else is a race by race lottery. In my opinion, Leclerc's day in the sun is setting. Hamilton's has already set. Sainz's is at its zenith. Same with Max...but he is the champion that Carlos will never be. The grid as a whole has become long of tooth, the future will be written by young drivers who are just being glimpsed at now. Liberty has played the sport for all its worth...now is the time for them to sell and take their profits.
Difficult to be raisonnable when driving at 300km/h in a close fight for the win. Unless you are Lauda or Prost. Nevertheless I really don’t like how Max behave when a ( rare) threat appears suddenly in his mirrors.
And....and.....maybe if the RedBull pit wall would have told Max that Norris had a 5sec. timed penalty due to track limits BEFORE the clash, it's possible Max would have let Norris by and just stuck within 5sec. behind Norris.
