The rabid Brit F1 media machine doing their best to rile up the Brit driver and more specifically the Norris fan base by painting Max as the villain to ensure a hostile environment for him at Silverstone. Unbelievable to still see idiot comments by Stella and Autosport attributing the ‘21 Silverstone accident to Max despite the obvious dirty or incompetent—but mostly dangerous—move by HAM being the obvious cause of the crash.
End of the year it'll be tears again with Max being crowned champion. They can drown in it. Given how the Dutch have treated even Max's fiercest rival at Max's home track, the Brits have plenty to learn. Russel was met by so many cheers on Sunday you'd think it was Max that won. Austrian audience is overwhelmingly Dutch Max fans.
Yeah, reckless driving by McL guys is fun to watch when others are involved, but still cost LEC a result last weekend. For the rest, it’s bad enough seeing Ferrari getting spanked but Lewis getting shaded by Russell week in and week out must be pretty discouraging, LOL though, unfortunately, this will become less funny next year when he’s at Ferrari.
How to sell tickets at Silverstone that cost a small fortune: Promote a good vs evil narrative between home town hero Lando and supposed villain Max (already is anti-Brit during the Hamilton era). Lando recently is showing to have no race craft, using dirty tactics and publicly stating he is as clean as it gets. He is a rage quitter in the sim racing world, and rage quit in Austria. I may find myself smiling when Mr Coulda Woulda Shoulda makes another mistake throwing away pole or a win or if Max dominates him despite McLaren being the fastest car.
Well Lewis got a podium just 2 races ago so there is that at least! Definitely looking forward to seeing him in a red car next year.
Reckless a good description. The Childe Norris is desperate to pass Max without the skills to do so. The Childe got his seat because he's quick on an uncontested track. When it comes to hard racing, he characterised himself correctly on Saturday: an Amateur.
And Russell got(handed one of them) 2 race wins with Mercedes for 2024. Lewis zero race wins in 2024.

Fancy clothes with nothing underneath. I beginning to wonder if Carlos will go with Williams as a way of being a big fish in a little pond, and have no real expectations to perform...rather than to Audi or Alpine where he will have very high expectations put on his shoulders.
Apparently big upgrade package coming to RB this weekend. I'm ready for a hat trick from Max. Grand Slam would be even better but unlikely. Just leave the Brits with a bloody nose.

Williams can´t even afford a new flag for their livery, that one looks like it has been dragged through the mud. Meanwhile Red Bull has painted blood on the sidepods to relax the animosities.
That strategy is going to back fire IMO. Max is the type of competitor who feeds off of negativity. They are only making him stronger and fueling his desire to win.
