You are robbing ICE power to keep battery at 100% in qualifying mode. This is fine on the street, but on the track it get used up. I run a 296 GTS on the street and love it. I also run an FXXK EVO on the track and use up about 100% of the battery in 1 lap on qually mode. BTW on the 296 I think the misnamed the modes. We have KERS on demand on the steering wheel buttons and you can watch the battery go down. I hope the new battery tech in the 250 is better but there is no free lunch.

I think that is partially due to them having motor only on the rear axle which limits the amount of energy you can recover. Under braking weight shifts forward so most of the energy is on the front axle. With front motors they should be able to recover much more energy.

Similar to how 2026 F1 cars will need to take some of their ice power to charge the battery because they cant regen enough from the MGU H alone.

I will ask more questions about how the 499p M energy store is performing at my next event. I did talk at length last month with one of the people who was involved in the development and has won many LeMans, but we did not discuss that aspect. There were 3 499PMs with us at Hungary. He did a good job convincing me I should buy won, but I said they are all allocated.

    The 2026 F1 engines won 't have an MGU-H. I guess you meant MGU-K.

Why would any fantacy written on the internet make you lose interest? What does the 12 Cilindri have to do with this car?

Reverse cam ugly ah, ruins the diffusor.
Also I dont understand why does Ferrari have to put the radar thingy in the front of the cars but the new Bugatti does not have it?

ok the poster of this post confirmed me that the the black stripe here to stay... the new 12 c design language which worries me.. squared-off deign, sharp edges here and there , and horrendous front black stripe.. two tone body color .. looking at the new sf90m mules.. looks like that thing also going to get same inspirations..

The Strip at the front was for daytona vibes. I will be more square-ish I was told but was told It was still a nice design

Unless that poster is named Elkann/Ferrari/Vigna/Manzonni, I wouldn't put too much faith in what he said.

Ferrari F250, getting close to debut.
Close your eyes. Imagine a low, low Ferrari.
Imagine taking the front of the 12 Cylinder, (one of the last born) and putting it on a hypercar body, including its black part, that connects the optical groups.
Imagine a red LED running on the rear just next to a huge wing that when not in use rests on the body, but still remains a present bike.
Imagine the part of the habitat as very aerodynamic and collected, but with huge squared parts immediately behind the wheels (like on Enzo, to say)
You have before you the next Hypercar of Maranello.
Put in a hybrid V6 in it, reaping the experience of the 499P two-time Le Mans winner. Add two electrified turbines, like you do with F1 cars (plus more, much more).
The debut is near, but if you close your eyes it's already there.
    To you!

I’m assuming ( fair to say ) we now have the landmark 12 weeks before the reveal …. Some real FBI/CIA/MI5 security must be around the car with no spy shots/leaks - I actually really like this , in a masochistic way I’m looking forward to daily checking FChat for discussion , titbits ( hopefully that phrase means the same in the ROW as it does in the UK!) ..speculations (both wild and plausible ) etc … yes , would LOVE to see the car right now , but as the saying goes - “curiosity killed the car “….. The anticipation is going to become almost unbearable immediately before the reveal -in the meantime , I actually hope for continued fun speculation rather than a leaked photo /leaked details .
    In 12 weeks , we’ll all know …..
Name , design , stats, appearance and numbers ….
I’ve always had TOTAL trust that Ferrari know what they are doing and that gives me peace of mind that the •#+¥•#@“*# will be a suitable iconic addition to the 288GTO/F40/F50/Enzo/Laf lineage .
    Here’s to the LM……

Just hope Manzoni will stop the blacked roof trend with this one..
This is becoming boring in the end.
