It's a shame, there aren't enough commentators who've actually had a racing career. The UK and US are woke-obsessed and there's enormous pressure for gender balance regardless of relevance. e.g. Sky have that stupid woman who was the (failed) strategist for Aston Martin, then there's Naomi Schiff, who is a nobody from Clio Cup. Danica has tried to build podcast ratings on the loony fringe of conspiracy believers. I can understand that it's hard to find an unserved audience but lizard people and Area-51 fantasies are a step too far and don't help to sell airline tickets and flash cars. I can imagine the pushback Sky got from their advertisers.
That is a shame. She certainly was better and had more credibility than half of the clowns on Sky F1.
This photo is the steel reinforcement used in the base of a wind turbine. To complete it you still have to add between 600 and 800 cubic metres of concrete, which is a weight of nearly 2000 tons. Once the wind turbine is dismantled, this base will forever be buried in the ground. Despite what the alarmists tell you this sort of energy is not clean and green. The same thing applies to the ocean floor for offshore turbines, except the base is much larger and is simply dropped on top of flat sections of ocean floor, devastating feeding and breeding grounds. Then there is a grid of sub-sea cables to transport the power to land. What appalls me is that any and every environmental protection legislation is simply by-passed in the name of "renewable" power.
