Vcappp, I looked in the trunk of a Roma Spider today at Ferrari of Austin to see if anything would actually fit with the top down. To my surprise over on the left was a release button for the fold down rear seat which I had not ordered being sure it was not available because of the wind deflector. They were not too keen to power it up and demo that feature, but it’s interesting that you just asked that question. I don’t know how it works with the wind deflector which was down and stowed on the floor. I’m already locked in 10:R but would love to add that myself. If I can get a photo of the pass through open , I will post it.
Thank for your post! Did you ask what the option code (new code for roma spider?) is ? Did you ask your dealer ? Maybe it was standard for every Roma Spider? Fold down rear seat is a quite important option, but my dealer just does not know much..
I was told that the car arrived at the port in NJ on June 4th and should make its way to FL in a couple weeks.
I believe the full down rear seat with the button is standard as I have it on mine as well and I didn’t specifically order it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Awesome!! I reviewed the Excel options list specifically for this and assumed it didn't exist on Roma given the air diffuser functionality. Love it exists and is standard.
I got my photo in April. Left Italy 5/15. Dunno about arrival, hopefully yours leaves Italy before the country takes an August nap. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
My buddy's Roma S left Italy one week before yours and arrived NJ 6/12. So if yours follows the same time line then it should've arrived NJ one week ago. My Roma S was "cleared for shipping" 5/29 and still on the water.
Ferrari NJ apparently takes its sweet time, cleaning the car, and generate invoice etc. We’re in LA, and my buddy’s car is not expected for another 3 weeks.
Makes sense as I’m going on four weeks as mine arrived in NJ on 6/4 and hasn’t made it to the dealership yet. Maybe this week.
Yeah, I'm hopeful I will be well clear and on water by end of July. At least based on some of the recent timelines others have posted for their cars production timelines (all models, not just Roma S). The only curveball might be my paint as I'm not sure if it's done in-house or one of the colors that is sent out. It's PNT1 so I believe that is done in-house, but not totally clear from what I have read on forums. Following other's photo posting timelines, I should have gotten my second photo on Saturday (I did not receive it) but given its weekend it might show up today or tomorrow. I figure I will get more confidence in the final production timeline once I see the body in paint photo.
I never received the second photo, and my car was cleared for shipping more than a month ago. So the arrival of photos didn't seem consistent enough to use as a timeline.
My buddy's Roma S that arrived NJ 6/12 got "put on the truck" today. You should be getting yours this week. Post photos!
Picked mine up today! Only driven 10 miles so far but loving it! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
