i recall in the 2004-2007 period i knew most of the Strads for sale and it was shocking then how many had been stuffed, stories have presumably increased since!. I've had excellent success w Merit both buying and selling over the years.

Bought a 2011 911 Turbo 6spd from him and the car was flawless and totally as represented so it seems a little hit or miss according to the other story on here.

 

There doesn’t seem to be many CS’s on the market these days.

I don’t remember them all. A 458, couple of F12’s, Vanquish gen II, a bunch. I’ve gone through a total of 65 cars in 14 years. I’m at the point where I’ve owned everything I’ve wanted and can afford. My 1st CS is on my list but doubt I’ll see it again. I’ll buy another btc during this dip and when it pops to 6 figures, may look for a Napier Green 675LT.

They are going to pay for anything and everything that needs to be fixed on it after a detailed inspection? If so, that's incredible. No idea on what I would pay though, but I will say that no service records doesn't always mean bad, just as full service records doesn't always mean good. My car was fully serviced at a respected Ferrari dealership it's entire existence and was a pile of junk once I started diving into it with a mountain of issues and problems and even down to minor stuff like every other bolt and screw being stripped or mangled.

With that all said, the black car with Fchat history sounds appealing to me to be honest.

 

It’s hard for me to get my arms around the fact that if this car is a triple platinum winner, ,which I don’t question .then why are there no service records?I bought four cars like this in my life and every car I’ve ever bought has had complete records from day 1. Just something to consider down the road.

I think unmolested, unmodified, standard CS’s and Scuds are going to be hard to come by. :-(

 

For sure, but luckily most mods are reversible with nothing more than time.

 

This car has full records, the owner did everything right but when the car gotr to Ryan Friedman the records ..... just arent there! They've lost them or have a policy of losing them, which is strange as it lowers resale. The red car they have has not records also.....
