Can you please share with me which part i 'blamed' teams for hiring him?

Can you share with me, which part Michael cheated in Spain 1996, Spain 1995, Brazil 2006 or Hungary 1997? Please kindly enlighten me.

I have no clue how Perez go in here, when I never once mentioned him in my original post. So stop comparing him when he isn't even in the equation.

It's true Russell was better then Hamilton in 2022, but Hamilton roundly beat him last year. I agree Russell is beating Ham again this year and that's not unexpected. I think very highly of Russell, and before the season is out, I'm excited to see who breaks the 'tie-breaker' of sorts. (best of 3)

It's reasonable to regard Max as the best driver on the grid, especially considering his performance relative to his teammate, Checo. Max is likely to remain with Red Bull for the foreseeable future, so Ferrari can't secure him.

It's also conceivable that Lando and Oscar could outperform Hamilton—plausible, given both are promising talents, though they'll be with McLaren for some time. Same with Rus and MB.

This leaves us simply with Ham versus Sainz.

I personally don't believe Sainz surpasses Hamilton, but I respect differing opinions on this matter and wouldn't laugh anyone out the room who supports team smooth operator. I personally love Carlos, and think the camaraderie between him and Leclerc is great, perhaps even too good. I guess I just have too much of the Commendatore spirit in me, favoring a combative to maybe even 'unfriendly' competition among his drivers. Perhaps being an a$$w0le is part of the equation sometimes. Enzo certainly thought so.

So signing Hamilton was a straightforward decision. I mean, who else were they going to choose? Ricciardo? Yuki? Bottas? A rookie?

One also can't deny the natural synergies to the brand that caters to the elite also (regardless of one's personal views) exactly aligns with those Ham is called bout here of being 'out of touch' - why yes - that's exactly correct. Every member of the gentry I personally know (regardless of what they say or do in private) - parrot Ham's MO on the ton.

But, what do I know? I'll defer to Charles when asked who would be his 'perfect' teammate.

But why not look to the future and bring on a younger, promising driver like Bearman for example? He showed great promise when he stepped in for Carlos IMO.

If Lewis was still winning I think it makes sense short term but as it stands it just seems like a marketing move to sell merch. Even more interesting will be seeing how Charles and Lewis work together. I have serious doubts either of them will be happy being number two.

One thing is certain, there will be lots of drama from the get go.

I am looking forward to 2025, to see how the cohabitation goes at the Scuderia, and who gets the most of the Ferraris, the "playboy", or the "prima dona".
That's going to be my main interest to keep watching F1 for a while.
I guess Italian newspapers, the media and the pundits will be working overtime covering all this, and -no doubt- inventing most of the stories.

I like Bearman and Lawson too, but Ferrari wants an F1 championship yesterday, not 5 years from now. Even Max took 8* years to get it. So again, who’s left? Zhou? Logan? Ocon? Stroll? Those guys are jokes.

Yeah it’s a tough decision. I guess it’s their version of a Hail Mary. I just personally think Lewis doesn’t have the edge anymore. If Ferrari can give him a car that is way above the rest of the field he might have a chance but that is a really big “if”.

AM shows 'why not' when they put Alonso in their seat. At the time, he (and AM) were not winning nor challenging anything. His experience and cleverness makes him a threat when the equipment supports him. Agree with above that Ollie is the future and agree that SF are looking for more immediate results.

I look at this win as one of Sir Lewis Hamilton's best drives. I think he broke the record also for most seasons with a win too.

And terrible race from our future #2 (helped by an incredible tire strategy, of course)

Yeah can't fault his race at all. Great weekend from him and Mercedes in general. tough conditions the best drivers really showed their stuff today and earned their money.

I think emotionally this one ranks easily in the top 5 for Lewis.

I think Lewis really showed his experience and his ability to manage tires. He knew what the right tire to be on was, and how he kept those soft tires alive at the pace he drove is elite level of driving.

I Don't think joe average knows this. In contrast, Lando was on softs and totally burned up his tires and was no match for max.
