How "Rude" my mother is 94 this month ,still living in her own home, drives her Jag-Canoe once a week to the shops, still is a director of a family company and does all her own investments .. And is sharp in the mind as she was at 40 and still enjoys "Arguing and bickering " And does not RELY on Governement handouts .
Sounds a bit like my folks but they’re not directing anything these days, passionate bridge players at 89 and 92 mind you, can’t get much past them, still as quick as a bear trap and as painful if you put a foot wrong [emoji58] Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Not really, mum has an opinion and dad listens, it’s a win win [emoji12] Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Quite a nicely written advertisement, let's you know what you'll be up against.......for a start. RHD 3.0 930s are uncommon, especially one without some sort of damage. There's a lack of no stories cars around however. 930s were in the financial doldrums for so long, they're the 308 of the Porsche world. That car would swallow $350,000 without much problem. Better to put the money towards a decent one.
Why would you buy something based on a review? It's a lot of coin to blow on something suggested by someone else.
Because he has know eye dear. He thought a Macan was a Porsche. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
It was $50k years ago on pcsa market place, should of bought it. It's a homologation car (within the first 400). I sold my carrera 3.o, still have my 3lt turbo, it's a better car, plus have my keeper (atm) "old mans" car (when I get there) 78sc.
Depends on what you call a lot of money . I've never bought a car on a PPI inspection or a mechanic opinion as most of the time they ALL can each other work -And I've never been caught out on MANY purchases. If you watched the known guys' videos, you might learn something.- Harry M for comment drives a lot of secondary roads and often talks about cabin noise, others drive on smooth Swiss roads and have a different take on the various cars.. The days of borrowing a demo car for a weekend have long gone. Thus I find the quality guys videos of value.
I've often bought new cars without driving one before ....The Rangie,993RS, and others just around the block, bought cars without seeing them MG, Brabham Bt23c,Boss 302 . With the 992 there are great model variations with such a wide choice, as it will be a long-term keeper, I want to get the right model that will suit me best, I've got NO interest in old ****ters, got the ones I want,no interest in speculating on values as I can earn strong income very easily and the depreciation on the 992 is insignificant to my capital or core investments be it my home, commercial property, shares, super or ay future inheritance.
I don't think a tower would suit my home -As it was originally built as a farm cottage in the late Victorian style You'll see in or near any English village.
