hmm. So you don’t have the car yet? mine left factory 5/29 and was put on the truck in NJ to ship to California this past Sunday.
I received the display box with the holders for the valet key and car model today. They know how to turn up the anticipation dial!!!
Geez! Unless there was a mishap with the ship (!), the car should be at NJ. Can your dealer check status?
I’m wondering if you’re a “premium” customer, one with several million dollars worth of Maranello artwork Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Does the Display Box with model car & key holder arrive 4-6 months after taking delivery from dealer?
Hardly!!! I'm a first time buyer with no prior ownership/history!! My car is currently in production and should be on the water by end of July.
just to be clear, I have only received the display box. My understanding is they send this first as part of a multi-step process. The actual car model comes after delivery (anywhere from months to a year+).
here are pics of what I received. Hoping this works. Never seen something so difficult to post pics...
Any thoughts with those who had a protofino (non-M) and who have now spent some more time in their RS? My RS is now on its way over and starting to get more curious from those who made that transition. Thx.
The Roma Spider is definitely more responsive than the Portofino. Overall, it's a bit faster and handles better with less body roll. Gear shifts are snappier in manual mode, thanks to the new race mode in the RS. However, I still miss the hardtop, as it seemed to block outside noise more effectively. Having driven an SF90, I'm accustomed to the new technology. The touch controls in the RS are already an improvement over those in the SF90. Overall, it's a fantastic car, and you're definitely going to enjoy it.
Thanks. Nice to hear and I wasn't able to get a great sense from my test drive in the RS (and never drove a PM). I do miss my Portofino. I'm not so sure about all the tech but I go for the dual personalities these seem to offer.
My dealer doesn’t even have their demonstrator yet. My car is likely sitting in Newark, as it left Italy May 14. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Timing is highly variable. Mine was loaded on ship 2/22 and did not arrive at the dealer until 6/3 (~3.5 months).
Does anybody know where the wireless charger pad is? Sorry for ignorance, but I don't even know where to look. Also, can someone recommend a dashcam. There are plenty of dashcams that have front camera only, but how can you do a back facing camera in a convertible?
Beautiful color, rosso fuoco? checked the app today and see I have been assigned a VIN. will post pics when received.
