I’d describe my mate as a flipper rather than a collector. But he certainly knows his modern Porsches. He’s had pretty much every single one of them. Currently GT3RS, GT3 Touring (actually had two at the same time but I think he’s sold one), GT4 Cayman, and one other that I’m not sure what it is, maybe GTS or something.
No. Just a 100% dumb car. What's going to left of the underside of that crate after 4,000kms of GG roads? You'd rip the front splitter off pulling out of a motel for a start. Most of these things are purchased by speculators, it's the reason you see so many for sale with under 3,000kms. I suppose you could go have a baby in it.
Oh well, the money I earned and I'll spend it as I have always done the way I wish to. Carl , I don't have any relatives or family that will ever NEED my assets, just be a bonus in their lives going forward , as I reach my late 60s I'll start to enjoy my fun money more, and one way is via the cars I like and see myself driving. And I couldn't care less about any tear-up as I don't need to speculate on rising and decreasing values, fortunate enough to have had a long-standing career in my chosen profession that enables constant steady high-end income.
We can't all have a PhD or have done some useless degree that set us on the path to poverty and A Govt pension.
I'm very excited to read that Porsche will be releasing in the 992.2 range a "T" manual version, perfect for the GG,GHAB and CRAP rally with no rear seating. Python Green?
