I think Ferrari should go to Hungary with the cars in the exact same configuration as they had in Monaco, where they performed very well. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app

RedBull files a complaint to the FIA against Mclaren regarding their brakes. Something have to do with a hole in the brake tins(?) The holes need to be covered but RedBull found out that Mclaren didn't cover them. The holes are for sensors and must be covered during qualifying and race I believe.
Wonderful pictures, but looking at them, I suddenly wondered what is the cost of transporting, setting up, and then tearing down all these buildings (and all the furniture that goes in them)...per race and per season? And don't they get a little rickety after all those cycles? Might look impressive but does it make the racing any better?
IndyCar uses tents and awnings attached to giant motorhomes. F1> IndyCar There really aren't that many cycles per yr on these units.
This year it will be 23 set ups and 23 tear downs. And if they are used for...four?...years, that is a lot of wear on all those joints. Again, what is the cost of transportation and labor and all the other stuff that goes with them? Trailers, Winnebagos and tents would make more dollars and cents...sense...to me. Today's fans are missing the smell of castor oil and sweat...and salami and wine. It has become all too antiseptic.
The 'transformer' units are only used at the European races, so less than 10/yr. But I don't disagree that these make the events antiseptic, but they are playing to a particular audience and the days of the avg fan being in the paddock are over.
I expect another good battle at the front this weekend at Hungaroring with Max winning the race and Lando and Charles will be on the podium alongside him. The weather is expected to be hot throughout the weekend so indoor events like this meetup at Szimpla Kert would be a good option for fans to spend quality time with fellow F1 fans in a comfortable environment.
A lot, probably more than my yearly racing budget. They are being steadily upgraded--so only a few years of life per... Why would they want to do that ?? Remember the little 8'×15' trailers in "le Mans" ?? That is all a driver really needs. Remember the common eating hall in "Grand Prix" ?? That, too, is all a driver needs.

I watch because I remember when I loved it...and I keep looking (hoping) I'll see something like that again. However I fast forward through almost everything but the race...and there are times I fash forward through that.
Did you not enjoy (just a bit) of the last race ?? I think they should mandate ½ of every race be in the rain.
Yes, I liked the last race. But it was good inspite of all the FIA F1 Liberty Media absurdities. And it was a good race but not a great one.
Ferrari brings modified version of new car floor to Hungarian GP Ferrari is committing to the new floor that has caused trouble since its arrival at F1’s Spanish GP, but changes are being made At the recent British GP, following back-to-back tests in practice, the team elected to revert to its previous floor – which had been introduced at the Emilia Romagna GP. The team said it would use the time after Silverstone to try to get to the bottom of what has been happening so it could make a call on whether it carried on with the new floor or had to stick with the older version. Following the analysis done at the factory, team principal Fred Vasseur has revealed that the team has faith the new floor does bring a performance benefit so is worth persevering with.
