Sup! Those who have taken delivery and installed spacers, could you give us the sizes and maybe post some pics for show and tell? Looks like it's either 10/15 or 15/20 mm setups depending on how aggressive one wants to be. Also does anyone know if it's the same bolt pattern as the F8? Thanks
I ran 20mm front and rear on my car with the OEM wheels until my Novitec wheels showed up. Yes, same bolt pattern and hub bore as F8. I actually used this same set on both of my 812SF, first and second F8 and now this 296. Pictures here - https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/posts/149500037/
That stance looks really good. So you went 20mm all around? would you do it differently if you had to do it again?
Factory ride height for now. The additional width added some stability in the corners. Tip in was slightly better too. All in, would do it again if I kept the OEM wheels on it.
So I'll take better pics when I have the car here. But these were taken by the dealer before shipping the car to me. He parked it next to a stock 296 to try to show the difference. The car has 18mm spacers all around resulting in slightly less than flush fitment and is lowered about 12mm on the stock springs. Here’s a couple of just the spacers before the drop: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I went down to the dealer, drove it a few miles to be taught all the tech and to make sure everything worked, and they're shipping it to me today. So I haven't had the time behind the wheel to have an informed opinion, especially cause it's not like there are many twisties in Naples FL. I'll share when I have something more interesting to say than it's breathtakingly beautiful and stupid fast in a straight line.
She’s home. Perfect stance for me with the 18mm spacers and lowered on stock springs as I just wanted her to look correct rather than too aggressive. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Very nice look! I’d say you nailed the setup. Not too aggressive, much better looking than stock. interesting color, really pops in the light!
Looks great! This is how it should look from the factory. Although I said I gave up on the idea of slightly lowering my 296 on the stock springs and adding spacers, I may reconsider…
From the little I have driven her she drives super comfortably, but I haven't put enough miles on her in stock form to know the difference. I could have had it lowered more but we chose a conservative amount to preserve the stock ride quality as much as possible. And yes lifter still works.
I believe it was somewhere between 10-12mm (I could ask the tech on Monday), but if it helps the front is sitting at around 27 1/2" and the rear at around 29 1/4"
