I waited till I watched the full race before commenting and, whilst I'm thrilled for Oscar, I don't think he deserved to change places from 6 seconds behind. Lando said about 5 laps from the end "well then, tell him to catch up" and I think that was a reasonable argument. He proved himself a good sportsman by complying with the pre-race agreement, unlike other drivers from the past, notably Vettel. Of course Lando lost the start and was particularly aggressive in trying to push Oscar into the wall, so he's no angel.

I was thinking the same thing, but given that Oscar was told that there was going to be a swap there was no need to risk doing anything silly to risk the race. Lando was given Oscar’s pit stop to fend off Hamilton that put him at an advantage, so Oscar played the game. Once Lando gained this advantage he didn’t want to repay the favour.

I've always enjoyed your company on the various drives we did, if I didn't I wouldn't invited you back to share the drive each time of the E-type..
