Sorry. Just assumed you had. Member since 2005, 5000+ posts. Figured you had Ferrari ownership experience.

regardless- I think the 750 is spectacular. 720 is the bargain of the century for the performance you get. Check it out. You might like it.

I think the 880 car was the product of 2 drunk guys in a pissing contest! Great car, but one guy woke up thinking WTF did I do? The other guy woke thinking, thank God I dodged that bullet!

If this was Mac Orange, I would be all over it!

That is. Good deal but have heard shady things about Carrio motors. Flood damaged car? Either way- 3 year old car with 10k miles still selling around sticker.

Compared to what people were paying a year or so ago, even knuckleheads like me will be able to get one!

Better looking in person (really like the front lip which I wasn’t sure about).

This purple with crema interior was a stunner.

I haven't seen a 750 in the wild yet. Does it look different enough than the 720? I love my 720, but feel in love with the 296 GTS and ordered that. Unfortunately, I think the 750 doesn't look different enough in pictures from the 720 to merit a new one. Also, from what I've read, it sounds a bit like it's more extreme. One of the things I love about my 720 is that it's a beast, but it's also so liveable!

750 has been trouble free. It’s based on 720 which they have dialed in pretty well. Artura is the one where they needed to work out kinks and from what I can tell they have.

congrats on the car. Looks great. Drive in good health.

It's possible that I've been lucky, but I had a 570S and now have had a 720S since 2021. So over about 7 years of McLaren ownership, I have not had serious problems with either car (fingers crossed). I don't drive them a ton, but I do drive them. I think the key to McLaren's is not getting the first one off the line of any model. I don't really consider the 750 a new model, it's more of an extensive refresh of the 720.

I had a 12c Spider with 45,000 miles in 5 years, when I traded it for my 720S Spider which has 28,000 miles in 5 years. No major problems with either one. Less on the 720S.

I would call a 750 an extensive “refresh.” Very similar looking (front lip and rear exhaust are the only obvious distinctions to my eye).

As far as experience behind the wheel, I defer to others. I have never driven either, but I am told the ride is like the 720, no significant departure.

I’m buying because my McLaren driving (570 and 600) has left nothing to be desired, and I want the last pure ICE, especially as it is the “best of both worlds” road car 720/765 final iteration of the model.

750 drives better than 720. Quicker, tighter more refined in a good way. Build quality was solid in the demo I had. I loved it. The feeling of the power is softer than my 765 but there is tons of power. 720 is a great car- but a lot of people complained about the softness and lack of emotion- I never felt that way but 750 addresses it. It's a winner.

With regards to the 296- I have no wheel time behind one. I do not fit comfortably in a coupe and as much as I would want to own one, it just wasn't a comfortable car for me but have heard great reviews on it.

When I bought my 720, my dealer talked me out of getting Volcano Red like I had on my 12C. He said they were having trouble with the Volcanos. I love the color.
