Or the car will finish one race at all? Let alone compete. Heat will be an issue when tagging along long safety car session..

I guess these panels are the final ones.
Lip is an aero device to my opinion.

The lip is all over the place and is part of the side panel (fender). Not a finished piece by any stretch of the imagination. It's not like and it's Very different to what you see on the 499P

I’m unsure about the lip. Could easily be an aero device per the Kremer Porsche (and Ingegnere’s large data bank of knowledge!) but, I don’t feel the side mirrors are the final piece, which means there could be some alterations to the top of that panel. Very difficult to know.

When you take the disguise off, I think this will be a dramatic design. We’ve talked about F40 on this thread and whether they have copied it like an Icona or just used some of the same principles, the fact is, that style has graced lots of aero-led race cars and just looks great, even 40 years after the F40. The slim body, winged rear, aero faring at the front overlapping the central body at the A-pillar.

To be honest, I still believe the car is 100% in front of us.
    Just entirely wrapped.

The mistake “non-believers” ;) are making is in thinking this is a flat panel; it’s not. Although mostly vertical and flat, it has some curvature and is also shaped with the continuation of the horizontal crease that continues towards the rear, as anticipated in the Ferrari plaque design.

The shape of the fender, with the raised fin/fence is very similar to that on the 499P—which has fins on the front fender peaks wells along the car centreline at the front axle. The fin also appears to be more prominent at corners behind the headlights as there seems to be a step for venting either cooling air or an S-duct of some sort.

the valks creator wasn't fully happy due to budget restrictions not allowing him to make the car even lighter

the usability isn't great though - getting in/out of the car + the cabin noise

still a very good and unique special occasion car (which imo suits hypercars due to their low mileage use)

someone here previously said hypercars without any practicality suffer in terms of future values but with cars like the Mclaren F1 GTR / CLK GTR etc shows otherwise

You know I am actually on the fence about which way this will turn out, would not bet my money on any. It's just that I feel more peace believing there's still a final twist :D

Thank you Simon, I have been saying the same thing, the quarter panels are covered, as is the lower front hood. They are still masking the design.

The doors are nicely rounded with pronounced convex surfacing (green) above and below the top horizontal crease (red) and deeply scalloped at the bottom. This is in contrast to the relatively more upright and boxy front and rear fenders that contain the wheels (obviously) and lend a look of muscle and power to the car.

The door handle is flush mounted (yellow) and confirms door surface.

The flashes of red at the edges is where the painted bodywork is peaking through in the absence of wrapping. Pretty sure this actual car was used for presentation pics before being wrapped for testing. Expect to see a red car in official pics—not a stretch to say this but, they don’t always use red.

Yes, I believe the fences (vertical fins) will be there. ;) And, yes, unusual to see the actual car at this stage but pretty sure this is production-ready. Sort of some late design changes (as opposed to supposed camo) I expect this to be the car. Pretty sure the Aston and the Merc hyper cars were road tested pretty much undisguised also.

Yes, looks that way. Good catch.

Ironically, it’s white, but surrounded by an outline of red bodywork.

One of the mules/p-tipos that was shot at the gates (looks yellow w/red dash (or cover) has different fenders that flare out and aren’t the slab panels that everybody’s finally questioning…..the top of the fender/hood/cofango? Is also way more rounded and follows the shape of the tire more than the slab side panel cars…. I can’t be the only person that’s noticed this.. there’s one or two pics 8/10 pages back..
