This? Image Unavailable, Please Login As with the wrap stretched across the lower splitters, here the wrap seems to also be stretched over the S-duct outlet and fender fins. Nevertheless, the curvature of the front fender (helped by the shadow from the gate) is evident, as you noted. This was never going to be completely flat and only appeared so because the camo design—as intended— makes it difficult to pick up the reflections that help you identify shapes.
When you look at these photographs, it seems very clear that this is the final vehicle. There are also some really interesting things to observe. Although there are some similar features to the F40, you can easily see the 40 years difference. No surprise. What is more surprising is just how aggressive and wild the F250 is. The F40 was industrial and purposeful in its time. The F250 is the same in its time but you can see the progress very clearly. Both have a boxiness about them that in the case of the F40 has come to be beautiful because it has become so iconic. I think the same will likely happen to the F250. The black areas, especially at the rear, will be extremely dramatic set against the painted areas. The diffuser is just huge, absolutely huge. Look and compare with the F40’s and even the LaFerrari’s diffuser. The F250 aero treatment at the rear and side underbody is the most aggressive of any of the hypercars and leads to a very dramatic design. It’s interesting to compare the F250 against the F40 and the LaFerrari. The LaFerrari is a very voluptuous design, quite beautiful to my eyes. The F250 will be beautiful in the way of the F250. But the performance the aero suggests will likely be very strong. The remaining questions are about what new tech the car will have and what is not visible under the wrap - moving aero etc. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Agreed. Wouldn’t bother me if they included the slots behind the rear wheels as a functional homage to the F40, although it looks like space is limited there..
With these picture, it kind of looks like door panels that are hidden by the panels seen in pictures. Why such a big gap at the door area ?
I’m sure that there are a lot of details that are hidden from view by this wrap- I’m sure , certain - imho- that the overall look of the car will seem much punchier and unique once the wrap is off ….. esp with the aero ducts…

It might be a “ red -herring “, but in some of these pictures over the last few weeks , I’m seeing tapes/elements around the roof line - could the F250 in fact be a targa type like the SP3??????
The gap we’re seeing at the top of the door is the area scooped away (similar to SP3, though an air outlet in the latter) to feed air to the rads and/or inter-coolers behind the doors. This opening also transitions into an upper NACA-shaped inlet (as hinted at by @day355) that seems to feed what looks like a Countach-style air box, probably for engine air intake, probably painted piano black and that seems to also double as a hinged cover for either charging port or gas filler (?). Per the picture below, this car’s door opening extends into the roof so no targa here. Not sure the door hinge arrangement can accommodate a targa roof. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Wheels are going to be nice if they keep the rims trimmed in silver like that—which seems to be the case. Probably realized all black would be dreadful.
These two items - the air intake and the wheels look to contain very neat ideas. We just took delivery of a GT4 RS at our holiday home in Europe. I am beyond impressed with it. Its size fits the roads so well, the hard ride is not as hard as they say (GT3 T, now departed, in the UK was much harder to cope with) and the noise is brilliant. Still running in so haven’t experienced the full ear-splitting sound but have driven some of my favourite local roads and can still have plenty of fun only using the engine up to 5k. I’m hoping the outside is as quiet as they say because I don’t like drawing attention, especially if I want to enjoy the car safely. But inside the car?! So many of the reviews use the term ‘insane’ and I can’t think of a better one. And it sounds so much better than on those YouTube videos. It is symphonic, orchestral and I’m enjoying it immensely. If Ferrari are going to use the same idea, that would be fantastic and a great response to the ever-increasing noise regulations in the EU. I’m all for a bit of focus on the driver (don’t want to be selfish but often the person who pays gets the worst sound). These cars are better with a great sound on the outside but the volume is being controlled. They can still sound good though. Too many cars sound good to the onlooker and poor in the cabin. Here’s hoping Ferrari fix that and it looks like they might have - otherwise, why locate the air intake there? Secondly, the wheels. It’s always a risk to order carbon. If you use the car in unknown areas, I.e. road trips where you’re often encountering new roads and locations. To have metallic rims and carbon centres, that seems like a good solution, not to mention beautiful. Whenever there is a decorative line around the wheels, it seems to make the wheel appear smaller. For example the blue XX spider launch car. I tend to feel it weakens the look (sorry if anyone has that, only my opinion). Either way, a circle on the wheels that goes right to the edges emphasises strength and will be a definitive feature of this Ferrari - unique in Ferraris from my memory? It also begs the question; what other interesting surprises are in store?
That fender matches the rear wheel and the Vision GT theme with circular contour over the belt line. I hope we get something like that. I still think we can't get such a flat, vertical panel as in most examples (those last screenshots from video).
very cool to have a gt4rs at a holiday home! I drove a friends one briefly and actually felt the cabin induction noise was a bit over the top, was wonderful to drive and agree about the ride not being as harsh as many say
A bit off topic but the Valkyrie was just a way for Red Bull to skirt around the F1 budget cap, legally or illegally
I don't think you couldn't call those diffusers. Anyway, the taller or more voluminous, the better, so my point stands valid.
I have the feeling the engine cover is just a dummy cover, and the design may be similar to F50. Any thoughts on this?
Also just noticing that there appears to be something inserted into this S Duct, you can see lines on each end which shows that there is a raised item/surface inside the duct? Could be a panel masking what is going on inside this area? Image Unavailable, Please Login
