This articulation of the concept in the product brief and positioning of the 12Cilindri against the rest of the range hits exactly where I'm interested. Hope my deposit converts to an allocation.

It’s an incredible experience. You’ll think about it non-stop and likely change a few things over time.

Totally agreed with you, having these kind of cars is amazing, but for me part of the total experience comes also from spec'ing the car and also the wait for it to come....

Embarrassed to admit it but I’m starting to warm up to the 12C design. It took a while for me to “get” the tdf, too, and it’s one of my all-time favorites now.

It took a few hours for me. The top down and front quarter views did it for me. Still not sure about head on, but the rear view has gotten more interesting as well.

By now I really like everything about the front, the side, proportions and clever/funny roof-to-rear. Actually the only bit I dislike is the profile view of the rear, with the blackened area reminding me of one of those terrible black leather bras which were popular in the US.

I've posted this to another thread also. The problem with the V12s after 2019 is the EU environmental restrictions that have permanently killed the true F1 sound that was so much a part of why the Ferrari V12s were special. I have a 2019 812SF. It sounds as close to an F1 racecar than any other car I've heard. It screams. Ferrari can try to "pipe in" as much sound as they like, it will never sound like my 812SF. I think it's great that Ferrari has tried to keep the V12 NA tradition going, but the EU has made that not really possible.

100% agree, in my opinion that is the car to keep, there are no other cars that come close.

I am assuming you have a 2019 SF pre gpf filter car, not 2019 SF with gpf filter

GPF did not come to USA until late MY2020 builds... thus all USA build MY2019 812SFs are GPF-free

Agree !! I have warmed up to it as well and can’t decide between the coupe or spider. Traditionally the lines of coupes are more in keeping with the intended styling of a vehicle (not sure if that’s because spider variants are later introduced), w the 12C not sure that is the case. Putting a deposit on one … any insight coupe vs spider in the coming days would be helpful (especially from those that have seen in person). Other comments : nothing imo touches the design of the F12, one of the favorites of my cars (every design element has a purpose, I think the 812 was a design miss especially the spider).

I saw the cars at the Miami launch. When I saw them in person, the designs were fantastic. In general, I have preferred coupes over spiders due to the styling change, etc. In this case, I have ordered the coupe. But the 12C in spider form in Giallo Montecarlo was incredible. I never really liked that color, but on the spider, it looked like a great fit. It made me rethink getting a spider.

Yes, the cars looked way better in person than as pictures on a screen. Being there gave me a sense of the car's balance and how well the lines flow, as I could see in 3D vs 2D on a screen. And I could understand how the "delta" in the back half looks. IMO, it looks great. If many feel that way, maybe this delta shape becomes part of the design language. Guessing. I wonder if we will see more active body panels throughout the car body in the later part of the decade. Panels coming in and out at various angles. It would be cool to see a perfect exterior with minimal design disruption. Then when the car is in motion, it uses body panel actuation for real-time aero. I know we saw a small test of that on the KC23.

thanks for the feedback. I too am partial to coupes — from the pics the coupe to me is a spot on progression of the Daytona and I love the plexi nose (even if simulated). Best part of my F8 coupe is the plexi rear deck couldn’t imagine a slide even tho more desirable. I am not a speculator so the resale desirability is meaningless

Me too. The 812GTS is great, and no need to replace its. The coupe is FAR more interesting to me. Just my opinion.

Has anybody seen photos/videos/reports on the Rosso Corsa launch spec? I do not think I have seen anything about this car.

I currently think about going for Rosso Maranello with the standard matte plastic parts and black matte wheels - somewhat similar to the Rosso Corsa launch spec

I think the launch spec was Rosso Imola, not RC (I think all of the launch cars were in metallic shades).

Rosso Maranello will look incredible on this shape, especially in the sunlight (my 458 is Maranello, so I'm also a little biased). It doesn't show particularly well on the configurator though, the renders flatten it out. Rosso Magma will look great as well, and seems like a popular option from some of the ordered specs that have been shared here.
