Power is power but the main comment is that Chevy did an ICE stock engine - no batteries necessary to augment the power and reached over 1,000 hp. A flat plane crank V8. I think that is pretty cool, don’t you agree? What surprises me is that it weighs in the same as an SF90? Is that true?? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Yes 296 is rwd - I tried to order AWD they oddly said it wasn't available - even with TM! Indy run broke a record - Ferrari race day it's on the Ferrari You tube channel. Ring SF90XX - watch it - at the end the driver of the AMG1 track run - places SF90XX in front of the AMG1 - he was saying something - loud and clear. Wheel spin / race car driver is all good - personally I prefer grip downforce rubber planted when there's 1000hp, I am not arguing anything - just my impressions from the cars I have owned or driven.
It is cool, but not unexpected; they just used a larger engine. Its specific power (power per 1 litre of displacement) is lower than that of Ferrari's V8. Keep in mind that the SF90 XX's V8 makes nearly 800 HP from 4 litres. At any rate, the discussion was about the ability of putting that power to the ground, irrespective of the power source. Actually heavier than an SF90, as per official stats. I guess you are joking about the first part... You tried to order a car that doesn't exist (an AWD 296)? It is a basic rule of dialogue that the the one who makes a statement is responsible for proving it. So, which are the tracks that Ferrari (the factory) set times on with the SF90 Stradale/XX, other than Fiorano?
Oh you wanted to set up a winning argument - funny guy. Ferrari racing days on the Ferrari site of the SF90 Indy. Do you want them to put an F1 driver in it to make it legit. Own SF90 / XX on order. It's good enough for me. Yes I talked to TM and asked them to paint a transmission on the underside of the 296 - still waiting for the factory to approve the request.
My question is, what other serious cars/manufacturers have made an effort at Indy? The production car lap record at Mosport is held by a Z06 :-/
I have literally posted the same thing multiple times. Soon a run at the ring - the video in parts were shown - the final time not released. My point was when has Ferrari broken track records - I ordered a ZR1 and until we see some seat time - no one knows. My questions - can you not use google search? Do you want some whip cream too ... pooh bear The Ferrari SF90 Stradale Assetto Fiorano has set the fastest lap recorded by a production car at Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course, lapping the circuit at an impressive 1:29.625 seconds at a maximum speed of 174.6 mph to set this time.
You wonder why ... what? What is your axe to grind with the SF90XX - ? Ferrari posted parts of a video but won't post it in its entirety. You realize Ferrari is the world's best branding company - I don't know why they didn't call you to ask your thoughts on how to market the SF90XX. You realize this is the first road going XX - do you really think they don't know what they are doing. No different than Mac naming the Senna. Newsflash - some people actually like their Ferrari's - shocking!
I love Ferrari, it’s why I am here. I think you can be an extreme enthusiast without being a complete apologist. The position that Ferrari is infallible and always sticks the landing simply does not comport with reality. And the handful of those on this forum who write like Ferrari execs are reading their every post and therefore they must be careful not to jeopardize their future allocations is both painfully obvious and tiresome. Just an observation. I won’t name any names, for anyone who spends much time here, I won’t need to. Carry on.
Have you ever attended a F First Mclaren MP4 - special Senna special 765LT from MSO. Went Lambo and received Sian Ferrari 612 FF and 360 challenge - fast forward new dealer opened one of everything I could get. Owned Carrera GT Viper - been around for a long time on many forums. I've heard the same stuff from the same guys - difference is I helped many and never once condescending to another persons car. Yes I love Ferrari Mclaren Aston Lambo Porsche etc - simply decided to make my life simple and go all Ferrari after a local dealership recently opened. Attending events F1 etc - it's really not just about the cars - it's the lifestyle and events. The tone here from many - which I get is not fun for VIP's. Jay Leno is 100% correct - Ferrari can be rough and the other brands have a much shorter line.
Interesting. I grew up where the cool men drove the cool cars and I admired them. In fact washed their cars and cut their grass, Sadly guys like you try to ruin the fun and people leave the forums. Try to show the respect you would in person - there are a lot of good guys here, we are more alike than different. We go to Monterey events etc. Respect goes a long way - disrespect is only a reflection on you. FWIW - I am happy - try to enjoy this place ... attended and organized the first Fchat to Vegas. Sadly a few have passed, who were very active here. It's small world life is short.
Your way of post structure and tone reminded me of Gino. You remember him? He at least posted some slutty girl pictures. Why are you so defensive and offensive at the same time all the time? Just chill dude. We all love your garage and let's just talk about cars. Are you ordering Revuelto? Have you test driven it?
