    dash will not illuminate and F430 will only move in 1&2 & reverse. OBD reads lost communication with body control module B.Any suggestions

    Get a new OBD reader? The 430 doesn't have a Body Control Module. What is the fault code number?

    Is there only an illumination issue or does the dash not work at all? Do the speedo and tacho work?

    For the car to only go into 1 2 and reverse means the TCU is recovery/fail safe mode ..we need to see what triggered it

    First like Ian said get a better reader so we can get codes in all the modules ...the most inexpensive unit that seems to work well is the ap200 old version (white not red) ..no longer on Amazon btw
