Why in the world would they tap outside designers for this car?

Sir Jonathan Ive’s iPhone design is basically the Mona Lisa of industrial design. If you disagree, try telling that to the people forking over $200k for the original.

I’m no expert on the secret handshake club that is Ferrari C-suite dynamics, but if today’s generation (tomorrow’s Ferrari buyers) are anything to go by, they don’t seem to care about having mechanical keyboards on their phones. And after my joyrides in the 296 and SF90, I can confirm those touch capacitors are about as satisfying as texting on a toaster. Hope this clears things up?

Of COURSE they will. Long long gone are the days where Ferrari made and sold cars just to fund its racing goals. That pretty much died with Enzo.

Ferrari will do whatever it thinks will bring the greatest revenue and profits to the company. And if electric cars (in their professional opinion) get that job done, it will indeed be "Job #1"

I will say the Marc Newsom designed luggage for Ferrari is probaly the ugliest I have ever seen.

Not saying you have to like it or that Ferrari has the most screens. Just explaining that if Ferrari is going to make electric cars, who better for input then the iPhone designer?

Again this is just a proxy battle against EVs. It’s here and it ain’t going anywhere., take solace neither is the 12 cylindre, 296 or upcoming SF100, 250LM, or 499. Enjoy!!! Plenty of choices at the buffet my friend.

Sure, EV sales took a dip for two quarters, but hey, they're not dead. Also, used EVs are finally hitting the used market, which is never mentioned in the EVs are dead numbers.

I mean, I get it—some people hate EVs like they're the villain in a low-budget sci-fi flick. Hey, more power to them—literally, because they’ll need it! Personally, I’ve always said it’s more about PnR than HpW, but that’s a whole other saga for the P&R fan club. End of day, most folks could care less about that P&R stuff. It will be all about what’s easiest on the wallet. It’s really that simple: Most people aren’t car fanatics—they just want something reliable and safe without selling a kidney. Don’t believe me? Why else do you think we're rocking a 100% tax on some cars?!

By the way, I’ve got a gentlemen wager going that in five years, EVs will be hotter than ever. Consider yourself on my ‘check back later’ list. And just FYI, in the world’s two most populous countries (the US is just a 5% cameo), EVs are cruising toward as the only option.

But hey, if you think this won’t shake things up globally—shrug—maybe you’re right. My crystal ball sometimes can be cloudy.

Pointing to the Purosangue as proof Ferrari isn't chasing profits is like saying Ferrari is crushing it in F1—both are guaranteed to leave me scratching my head.
