Ouch. Which 2 layer paint did you choose? Blu Le Mans on my GTB was a 2 layer at $16,800 last summer…$37k is borderline insulting.
Beautiful color! It might somewhat mitigate the sticker shock... Speaking of which, I am dreading to see the sticker for my GTS currently at port with a triple layer paint. Atelier car so they gave me a pricing sheet in October and I wasn't told of an increase from $32,904 so will be interesting to see how that plays out although I have no illusion it will go along the lines this is Ferrari and this is the new price
Yeah it has a bigger flake than I remembered, like a mica or candy paint. I am getting Xpel Stealth on it before driving it so it's still another week or more out before I can even get behind the wheel. Three years of anticipation and then it sits there, and the excitement wears off... I also have an Atelier GTS starting production in verde menthe and now I'm expecting that to be well into the $40ks for the paint. I did the NYC appointment over four months ago already, and it has been stuck in "Second level escalation" for 3.5 months.
We think alike. Had a Blu Le Mans GTB and my GTS is Verde Minerale. Good call on the PPF, worth the wait as a stone chip on that $37k paint job wouldn't do Atelier takes a long time to close the various "tickets" as there is seemingly only one or 2 people at the factory for the US checking all the tickets and validating with dealership...Mine also took nearly 6 months and there was nothing crazy. Worth giving a gentle nudge to your salesperson from time to time to make sure things move along lest they think you are happy with your GTB for another year or so.
Thank you. I am happy how it turned out, despite being my third choice. I haven’t seen any others in Monaco yet. Funny enough Ferrari’s IG page posted an SF90 in what looks like Monaco just yesterday. https://www.instagram.com/p/C7wqyZINe3v/?igsh=cmhnc204dzlrOHU3 Then with the satin PPF and Anrky wheels, it will look one-of-one. For this much effort and expense, I want it to be recognizable as mine.
Add one to the list of people curious about the price increases. I chose a PNT1 Blue and Atelier listed it as $32,904 but that was about six months ago. I’m still a year away from delivery so there’s probably yet another increase, but if this is now $40k+ I may rethink it …
Same with me, I just returned from Atelier in Maranello last week. I'm waiting for the excel sheet of my car and come back and tell you about the price, that is listed right now for Giallo Tri-Strato. I have a personal limit and I have to keep in mind, that my car is supposed to be delivered next year, so there might be another increase in the base price adding. I think we now reach crazy prices for normal colours.Rosso corsa met 26k€, same with Rosso 70 anni...
......considering this (Rosso 70 anni) and Viola Hongkong/Bianco Italia 28k€, then the matte paints with 31k€ are kind of cheap
Hi. I'm not sure this thread is still ongoing but I'll give it a try. I'm due to freeze the spec on a 296 GTS soon, currently I'm going for Azzuro California with Blu Sterling interior. I'm also thinking about Celeste Met (590) with the same interior, but not entirely sure that'll work. I'm not super keen on a brown/beige interior (which is the obvious solution with Celeste), I just think it's been done a little too much. Basically the idea is to have a very light classic blue interior with a dark blue interior. Any tips or photos on the subject? Thanks!
I don't think that I would classify Blu Sterling as a "light classic blue". IMO, it's more of a medium or even dark blue (see attached photo). What about Blu Mediterraneo? That's a light blue.... The paint here is Blu TDF and my spec has a Beige Tradizione Interior with Blu Sterling highlights... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Apologies… I meant light classic blue exterior and dark blue interior. The spec I’m thinking of is attached, but I’m not 100% on the exterior, toying with Celeste 590 as another option.
Ohhhh. I thought Azurro California was a bit darker. That looks nice. I think Blu Medio has more green in that Blu Sterling. I think either one would look nice.
Would go blue medio but full alcantara racing seats, not just the middle. Blue carlifornia looks marvellous
I would do this color combination as not a fan of mixing blues inside and outside. The two blues always seem to fight with each other. Have you looked at Azzurro Met 592? It is close to Celeste and also a very beautiful and rare color. I believe the car in this video is Azzurro Met 592, even though it is labeled as "Azzurro California". 2022 Ferrari 296 GTB in Special Order Azzurro California Metallic In-Depth Walkthrough! - YouTube - AM 592 looks great on the 296 in my opinion. Azzurro Met is also discussed in this thread: Down to the wire - Azzuro Metalizzato or Grigio Alloy | FerrariChat See if you can get a sample from your dealer. Thank you! Very interesting. I’ll have a look at the AM. I like Celeste, just worried it’s a bit too green. As for going for a cuoio interior, it does look good but it’s a bit classic, I want to try something a bit different. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
What kind of seats are you going for? Because if you take the cf racing seats a lighter color looks better/more contrast. Gesendet von iPhone mit FerrariChat
I'm going for the standard seats, having tries the racing seats over a long drive, I prefer the comfortable option. I also don't really want the "racing look".
So, not too racy and not too classy. Difficult. Blue/blue might be "just a little too close to be nice". Any thoughts about charcoal?
