I wonder if the side winglets behind the windows have an element of active aero like the back flanks of the 12Cilindri spider ….would carry on a recent design element …??

Its not the F250 and it has No Electric warning labels either so its not hybrid maybe. Feels like a new design. But the past 296 VS mute had no warning label either.

Its looking like a redesign of the sf90 and 296 to support the new design language of the F250

I don’t see these as moveable. They’re just the door outer structure that’s been ‘cut away’ to create an inlet trough to the scoop behind and to lend a NACA appearance.

I imagine that depending on the incidence of the flow around the cabin on these flick-ups, they may be used as vortex generators but that would be a stretch.

This car has great proportions. The angle of slope from rear to front wheel arch, the percentage width of the glasshouse to the total width, how low-slung the glasshouse sits, the size of the front openings in comparison to the frontal area, the width and positioning of the headlights etc. Hard to comment on the final appearance yet because there are too many hidden details.

I said it right at the beginning, this car really feels like a 2020’s version of the F40 in character. By character I of course mean appearance but also forsaking the historic halo format (V12) to go for a higher performance package.

I think it's clear to everyone now with such a pics. In any case, with this engine, it was better to rely on the F40 than on the 512 M/LM...
Overall, it's a very Scandinavian design, very square. The treatment of the rear part could have been better.
Generally speaking, I think that the reference to aviation in Manzoni s new designs is not a good idea, we should leave that to Lamborghini

Looking at the body panels of the F250 I don't see it as a good looker, but judging by the incorporated aero solutions I hope it will be an outstanding performer.

Interesting bit here I haven’t noticed before. This section seems to be separate from the main body and opens the possibly of some interesting treatments to this space forward the rear wheel..

Such an incredible diffuser, it is absolutely huge. And the rear wing definitely is sitting in a reverse position - almost appears as though it would generate lift in that position. Never seen anything like that before. Is the thought that it is sitting perfectly neutral in the airflow for maximum drag reduction in that setting? Also wondering why the wing doesn’t sit fully flush when retracted. Don’t want to judge before the full reveal but it feels like a more resolved integration would have been the obvious thing to do. Interested to find out why it’s like that.

Perhaps the explanation for this reverse position of the wing in the photo is that the wing not only has a vertical opening, but that the main part can also move at different angles.
This may even explain why the wing does not retract completely, so that the main part of the wing has space to move at angles even in the lowest position. Or the space between the retracted wing and the body has some aero function.
    I'm just guessing.

Wing does look like ponting upwards indeed, but I presume we're probably overthinking about the reason.

FWIW I still think the diffuser size is unimpressive, given the application.
