Good deflection there, and good demonstration of your counting skills. I was graciously offering you multiple choice of responses to back your ludicrous statement.

should Haas just go ahead and dump K-Mag for the rest of the season, putting Bearman in the car early?

    K-Mag's form is non-existent

Bearman isn't in the F2 title hunt so no loss there

get the new kid fully integrated with the team for '25

Haas would have to ask the sponsors first, I guess.

Bearman isn't doing too good in F2; why is he considered for F1 ?

    Haas has sponsors? :p

you can ask the same question of Antonelli. or, why the half a dozen guys in front of them in the F2 points aren't being considered for F1, at least for next year. racing makes no sense sometimes

I celebrated by having lunch at a local restaurant appropriately called Modena, and I had a dish called Polpette Monza! I heard that the owner (who is British) was in Italy; I wonder if he was at the race? I'll have to find out.

Love the 328GTS. My favorite model year was 1988 with ABS and the anti-concave rims. 5 speed of course.

Yes, Haas has at least half a dozen of them, including Moneygram their title sponsor.

Each case is individual, but Antonelli is managed by Toto Wolff (I understand) who has been sponsoring him for some time.

Only time will tell if it is a wise decision to bring him at MB so soon to replace Hamilton.

In the case of Bearman, all I am saying is why rushing to promote a driver to F1, who hasn't really shined in F2 ?

It's sponsors who choose drivers, and some of them aren't judged "marketable". Speed only doesn't get you to F1.

Doesn't Bearman fit the qualifications to be in F1 with regards to criteria?

If you have a rich father whom buys you an F1 team just so you can be behind a wheel of an F1 car, then your analysis of whom should be in F1 goes out the window.

I really enjoyed todays race. As normal, Lando couldn't hold the first lap, but overall a great race. Pit stops for all teams were oddly slow. Russel had a hard time staying on the track..almost as bad as hass. Redbull..possibly done. What the heck happened? Newey? I think so. Ferrari turned it up to 11. Confusing strategy at first, but it worked out. Crowd was amazing. Hamilton mad at himself, but all good. The car seems to be coming together. Ricardo..man, I think the guy needs to retire.

Yes, Bearman kept his nose clean and finished 6th. But I wouldn't make a career forecast based on a one-off performance.

In 2014, at his first GP at McLaren, Kevin Magnussen finished ... 2nd ? Well, he never repeated anything like that since !

He apparently does, and so did Stroll, regardless of his father.

I really don't care who's in F1 or not. That's not my point. What I am talking about is expectations.

highlights one of the big problems of the driver academy systems-confirmation bias

at least Ollie has shown well in an actual grand prix

Stop moving the goalpost to your convenience, and leave Stroll alone.

We are talking here about teenagers recruited by top teams to enter F1, but who haven't really made their mark in F2.

That's what Mercedes and Ferrari are doing with Antonelli and Bearman, and the expectations that rest on their shoulders.

Nothing against it, but is it wise to get all excited about it ? Will they become successful or end up as cannon fodder ?

no one - bombastic bloated bwitish buxton arguing for team orders [and limp, laughable laura] belong with team cretin at sky spew.

he's right theyre not smart [but on strat calls] but team orders isnt smart it's cowardly.
whilst i'm shocked by repeated mcL box box errors, i admire them for having 2 number 1's.

MY1989 was the only year ABS was fitted to the 328 GTS/B (although later MY1988 cars were fitted with the “ABS”-style convex wheels.

What an incredible scene at the podium. No other race venue offers a more passionate celebration than the Italians in Italy when Ferrari wins. IMO….nothing is better for F1 than today’s spectacle.

    Forza Ferrari!!!!
